By means of careful heat treatment according to EN 12150, the glass obtains con-siderably increased resistance to impact, shock and temperature change. Due to these properties, the glass can be used as a structural element for shower enclosures. If the glass breaks, mostly blunt-edge glass granules form that partially remain tightly interlaced with one another. Possible danger of injury is thereby reduced significantly. Grâce à un traitement à la chaleur très étudié selon la norme DIN les valeurs mécaniques du verre concernant la résistance au coups, chocs et changements de température augmentent.
