MASTER ELECTROACOUSTIQUE / INTERNATIONAL MASTER'S DEGREE IN ELECTROACOUSTICS Domaine ministériel : SCIENCES, TECHNOLOGIES, SANTÉ Mention : ÉLECTROACOUSTIQUE / INTERNATIONAL MASTER'S DEGREE IN ELECTROACOUSTICS Présentation Université du Maine (Le Mans, France) and ESEO group (Angers, France) are proposing a new international Master's degree in electroacoustics. This Master, supported by EMV foundation (Institut de France), begins in September 2012. Objectifs The International Master in Electroacoustics offers students the possibility of learning the fundamentals in electroacoustics and in relating fields. The program offers a specialized education in * electroacoustics * mechanics and materials * transducers (loudspeakers, microphones) * acoustic loads and acoustic radiation * real time signal processing The master s program prepares students for careers dealing with different aspects of electroacoustics which require strong analytical and research skills, whether in the public or private sectors and for PhD studies or research activities. Condition d'accès Admission Requirements Admission to the Master s program is opened to students holding at least a Bachelor's degree in electronics or acoustics and who graduated from an internationally recognized university.. Admission is also offered to students holding a B.Sc. (Bachelor of Sciences) degree whose training includes modules in solid mechanics, sound and vibrations, signal processing, acoustics, electronics (at least analog electronics), programming (C language). In other cases, admission can only be decided after file review of the applicant. Applicants are expected to read the prerequisite skill requirements of the Master s Program carefully and should be prepared to upgrade their own skills if necessary. All applicants must prove English proficiency (TOEIC Test Level B2 at least required) by providing official supporting documents. Application All applications are reviewed by the admission committee in June (for the 1st Session). The applicants are informed of the decision by email at the end of June stating: * Either : admission on the main list (subject to passing the exam of the required diploma). Confirmation of your application by email is mandatory. * Or : admission on a waiting list (subject to passing the exam of the required diploma) * Or : rejection of the application.
