Une partie de la préparation du piano s effectue en amont du concert, l autre partie se réalise pendant l interprétation. Précisément aux mesures 2 et 29. 2 Alto et Violoncelle Viola and Cello Jouer en étouffant les cordes avec la main auche (main couchée sur les cordes), sans produire de son, mais un bruit de frottement dont la couleur varie selon la corde utilisée I/II/III/IV. 3 Piano Préparation du piano : Notes préparées à l aide d un morceau de omme ordinaire placé au commencement des cordes, à l endroit de leur accroche sur le chevalet métallique ou bien une bande de Patafix. Piano Preparin the piano: Prepare these notes by placin a piece of ordinary eraser at the end of each strin, where they are attached to the metal bride, or use a strip of Patafix (Blu-Tack). Placer des morceaux de omme mie de pain ou de Patafix sur les cordes raves, de manière à obtenir, pour chaque corde, l harmonique indiquée dans la clef de sol. Put pieces of kneaded eraser or Blu-Tack on the low strins, to obtain the exact harmonic shown for each note in the treble clef. Scotcher à l aide d un ruban adhésif les dernières notes du piano. Tape the hihest notes of the piano toether. Préparer les notes indiquées à l aide d une petite tie en bois placée entre les cordes 1 et 2 ou 2 et de chacune de ces notes. Cette préparation s effectue pendant l interprétation aux mesures 2 puis 29. Prepare these notes, by placin a small wooden stick between strins 1 and 2 or 2 and of each note. 4 Modes de jeu : Playin techniques: Glisser la main le lon des cordes, dans le reistre extrême rave, pendant la durée indiquée, puis laisser résonner.
