3 // Depuis 1906, soit un siècle cette année, et à travers deux guerres et trois constitutions, notre entreprise travaille quotidiennement au service de nos clients. // Au service des entrepreneurs de Travaux publics tout d abord, puis du monde de l Energie, des entreprises et artisans du Bâtiment plus récemment, et depuis 1988 au service de l ensemble des automobilistes. // Si nous avons de tout temps accompagné nos clients TP sur leurs gros chantiers extérieurs, nous nous sommes peu à peu installés hors de France : en Algérie tout d abord, puis en Roumanie, en Pologne, et récemment en Belgique et au Luxembourg. // FEU VERT de son côté a pris la première place en Espagne et se développe en Pologne et au Portugal. Enfin, depuis plus de 20 ans, notre Groupe est présent à Hong-Kong et en Chine pour rechercher les produits et accessoires auto les plus innovants pour nos clients de la grande distribution européenne. // Toutes ces initiatives ont visé à construire et accroître la satisfaction de notre clientèle, dans tous nos métiers. Elles ont fait de notre Groupe ce qu il est aujourd hui, un regroupement des plus grandes compétences guidées par une grande idée : l esprit de service. // L esprit de service ne se définit pas facilement, mais nous le démontrons par la satisfaction et la fidélité de tous ceux qui le reconnaissent et nous renouvellent leur confiance. // Cent ans, c est plus que la vie d un homme, c est le début de l entrée dans ce qui se nomme l Histoire. Mais la célébration d un centenaire doit surtout être tournée vers l avenir. Chacune de nos entreprises a été bâtie pour répondre à des besoins économiques à très long terme. Il est probable qu il y ait encore dans 100 ans beaucoup de Travaux publics et privés, beaucoup de besoins d énergie et beaucoup d automobiles! Dans ce cas, nous aurons fait en sorte d être toujours présents, et si possible toujours devant. // Souhaitons bon vent à notre Groupe : qu il continue d apporter sa part de bonheur aux hommes et aux femmes qui constituent sa richesse. // L ESPRIT DE SERVICE THE SPIRIT OF SERVICE Baudouin MONNOYEUR Président / Chairman // Since 1906, a century ago this year, through two worlds wars and three French constitutions, our company has been committed to customer service on a daily basis. // To begin with, serving public works entrepreneurs, then the energy world, more recently firms and trades in the building industry and, since 1988, serving the whole spectrum of car and vehicle owners. // We have always been close to our public works customers on their major sites abroad, and we have gradually set up operating centres outside France: in Algeria to begin with, then in Romania, Poland and recently in Belgium and Luxembourg. //FEU VERT has become a leader in its field in Spain and is expanding in Poland and Portugal. For the past 20 years, our Group has been operating in Hong-Kong and China, seeking out the most innovative automotive products and accessories for our customers in the major European distribution channels. // The aim of all these initiatives has been to build up and enhance customer satisfaction, across all our trades and professions. This commitment has made our Group what it is today; a cluster of leading expertise driven by a key concept: the spirit of service. // This notion is not easy to define, but we show it through the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers who recognize it and renew their confidence in us. // A hundred years is more than a lifetime, it is the beginning of what is called History. While celebrating a centenary, our eyes should, however, be primarily focusing on future horizons. Each of our companies was set up to meet long-term economic needs. It is likely that in another 100 years time, there will still be a lot of public and private works, a vast need for energy and still a lot of cars around! A Huston Bucyrus power digger at work for the Razel company : GENÈSE D UN GRAND AVENIR Au début du siècle, alors que la France entre de plainpied dans l ère industrielle, les sociétés françaises importent leur matériel d Angleterre, seul pays à la pointe de la révolution industrielle. En France, Henry Bergerat, entrepreneur et visionnaire, crée avec son cousin Francis Monnoyeur, la société Hy.Bergerat & Cie. L entreprise importe des machines fournies par des maisons industrielles de renommée mondiale comme Armstrong-Whitworth pour les machines-outils ou Ruston-Proctor pour les pelles à vapeur. Au même moment, attentif aux progrès mécaniques, Francis Monnoyeur découvre la «machine de l avenir» : le «Caterpillar Sixty». Le 6 Décembre 1929, Francis Monnoyeur signe le contrat qui fait de la société Hy.Bergerat, Monnoyeur et Cie, l agent exclusif de Caterpillar Tractor Company en France : ACCOMPAGNEMENT EFFICACE DES GRANDS CHANTIERS ET DÉVELOPPEMENT DES ACTIVITÉS Dans un contexte économique favorable, la société s organise et déploie ses savoir-faire pour améliorer son service après-vente et répondre aux demandes précises de ses clients : elle multiplie les ateliers régionaux, ouvre ses premiers ateliers spécialisés (moteurs marins, chariots élévateurs, grues mobiles). La crise des années 80 frappe les travaux publics mais forte de la qualité de son service, la société continue de croître. En 1981, Bergerat Monnoyeur devient l agent général de Caterpillar en Algérie. Puis, le groupe déploie ses activités sur les secteurs de la manutention et de l énergie. Bergerat Monnoyeur a su dans ces années, accompagné Caterpillar sur de nouveaux territoires, en Pologne, en Roumanie, en Moldavie. DEPUIS 1929, UN ENGAGEMENT FIDÈLE AVEC CATERPILLAR AU SERVICE DE SES CLIENTS A cette époque, le matériel Caterpillar n a pas d équivalent en Europe. Tout en offrant à ses clients des matériels d excellente qualité et parfaitement adaptés à leurs besoins, Henry Bergerat et Francis Monnoyeur s attachent à développer leur offre de service en se dotant d un atout stratégique majeur : un service aprèsvente de proximité qui fournit aux clients de la société toutes les pièces de rechange nécessaires à leur activité. Ainsi, dès 1938, la première filiale est créée à Toulouse. Cette présence aux côtés des clients - dans une période de guerre - vaudra un attachement sans faille de ces derniers, conquis par les efforts et la qualité du service apportés par la société. Jusque dans les années 60, les deux associés accentueront leur présence régionale en ouvrant des filiales à Bordeaux, Nancy, Lyon, Marseille et Lille. LES ANNÉES 90 : DEVENIR UN ACTEUR MAJEUR DANS LE MARCHÉ SIGNIFICATIF DE L ENTRETIEN AUTOMOBILE Fort de ses compétences techniques et de sa puissance financière, Bergerat Monnoyeur devenu Groupe Monnoyeur procède à l acquisition des sociétés Feu Vert et Impex. Devenir un des leaders dans les services automobiles à destination du grand public devient l ambition du Groupe Monnoyeur. Ainsi, le Groupe est devenu avec Impex le premier fournisseur d accessoires automobiles et vélo de la grande distribution. Dans le même temps, FEU VERT devient une enseigne de référence dans le marché des centres auto en France, en Espagne et en Pologne. La société est devenue en 10 ans, leader européen sur son marché.

A small revolution in the earthworks world... 5 men, 5 transport units & 1 crawler tractor : SOWING THE SEEDS OF THE FUTURE At the beginning of the century, as France entered the industrial era, French companies imported their equipment from England, the then spearhead of the industrial revolution. In France, entrepreneur and visionary Henry Bergerat, together with his cousin Francis Monnoyeur, founded the Hy.Bergerat & Co. Company. The firm imported machines supplied by industrial corporations of world renown such as Armstrong-Whitworth for machine-tools or Ruston- Proctor for steam shovels. At the same time, with a flair for mechanical progress, Francis Monnoyeur came across the "machine of the future" the Caterpillar Sixty. The crisis during the 1980s hit the building industry but, far from waning, corporate service quality fostered the company s continued growth. In 1981, Bergerat Monnoyeur became Caterpillar general representative agent in Algeria. After this, the group diversified to handling and energy sectors. Throughout these years, Bergerat Monnoyeur successfully accompanied Caterpillar to new territories in Poland, Romania and Moldavia. LE GROUPE MONNOYEUR A 100 ANS SINCE 1929, LOYAL CATERPILLAR COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE At the time, Caterpillar equipment was in a league of its own in Europe. While offering their customers equipment of excellent quality and perfectly tailored to their needs, Henry Bergerat and Francis Monnoyeur aimed to extend their services in the form of a major strategic asset: a local field service which would supply the company s customers with all the spare parts needed for their business. Thus, as early as 1938, the first subsidiary was set up in Toulouse. Being present alongside customers during the wartime period cemented a strong bond between company and client, the latter appreciating in particular the efforts and quality of service provided. Up to the 1960s, the two associates were to heighten their regional operations with subsidiaries in Bordeaux, Nancy, Lyon, Marseille and Lille. THE 1990s: BECOMING A MAJOR PLAYER IN THE VAST AUTOMOTIVE SERVICING MARKET Boosted by its technical competences and financial power, Bergerat Monnoyeur, now Groupe Monnoyeur, acquired the Feu Vert and Impex companies. Becoming a leader in general public automotive services became an ambition of the Groupe Monnoyeur. Thus, with Impex, the Group has become the leading supplier of automotive and cycling accessories throughout major distribution channels. At the same time, FEU VERT became one of the benchmark brands in the car centre market in France, Spain and Poland. Within the space of 10 years, the company has become European leader on its market.
