2 1. RACCORDEMENT DE L EBT.1/230 Ouvrir le capot. 1.1 Raccordement alimentation et commande Dévisser le presse-étoupe 1. Prévoir un câble 3 fils + T pour l alimentation et le passer dans le presse-étoupe 1. Connecter le câble aux bornes 1, 2 pour alimentation, à la borne 3 pour pouvoir piloter le servomoteur (borne 3 reliée à la borne 2) et à la borne 0 pour la terre. 1.2 Raccordement commande vanne/servomoteur Dévisser le presse-étoupe 2 et passer le câble du servomoteur.connecter le câble du servomoteur : la borne 1 du servomoteur dans la borne 4 de l EBT, la borne 2 du servomoteur dans la borne 5 de l EBT, et la borne 3 du servomoteur dans la borne 6 de l EBT. Refermer le capot. 2. UTILISATION Avant la mise sous tension de l ensemble, reconnecter le fil rouge de la batterie (déconnecté par précaution pendant le transport) et réenclencher le bouton jaune d isolation. L EBT charge sa batterie dès qu il est connecté au secteur. A la première utilisation, il est conseillé de laisser la batterie en charge pendant 8 heures. Les appareils raccordés sur les sorties secourues sont alimentés dès que l EBT est mis sous tension et le voyant 4 s allume. Si le courant est mauvais ou absent, l EBT continue à fonctionner sur batterie : le voyant 2 s allume en vert et l alarme émet un signal toutes les 10 secondes puis toutes les 3 secondes lorsque l autonomie batterie est proche de la fin. Si la durée de la coupure secteur dépasse l autonomie batterie, l EBT s arrête automatiquement au retour du secteur. Après décharge complète, quelques heures sont nécessaires pour restaurer la pleine charge. Si l EBT est mal utilisé, avec 1 appareil trop puissant ou mal adapté, le voyant 3 s allume en rouge et l alarme sonne, lorsque cette surcharge est trop forte l EBT cesse d alimenter ses prises de sortie. Si l EBT présente un défaut interne ou est branché sur un court-circuit, le voyant 1 s allume en rouge et l alarme sonne. L EBT cesse d alimenter ses prises de sortie. Vous pouvez laisser l EBT branché ou en fonctionnement en permanence. L EBT bénéficie de la protection contre les surtensions. 3. UTILISATION DE LA BATTERIE L EBT est équipé d une batterie au plomb 12V/5Ah dont l alimentation doit être conforme à la législation en vigueur. Attention : leur durée de vie décroît de moitié tous les 10 C au dessus de 25 C. Cette batterie ne peut être remplacée que par un personnel qualifié (risque d électrocution) et par des batteries autorisées afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement de l EBT. 4. GARANTIE L EBT est garanti 1 an. Elle délivre des tensions dangereuses en sortie même si l appareil est déconnecté du secteur. Pour toute intervention, appuyer sur le bouton jaune d isolation et déconnecter le fil rouge de la batterie. L EBT présente des tensions dangereuses à l intérieur : son ouverture doit être effectuée par un personnel qualifié, après arrêt de l appareil et déconnection du secteur. L EBT est conçu pour alimenter un appareil électrique inférieur à 195 W. S assurer que la somme des courants de fuite de l EBT et des appareils qu il alimente ne dépasse pas 2.7 ma (vérifiant la certification C.E.) 6. SIGNIFICATION DES VOYANTS Le voyant 1 est vert et l alarme sonne fréquemment : l EBT fonctionne fréquemment sur batterie car le courant fourni par la prise murale est de mauvaise qualité. Faites vérifier l installation électrique par un professionnel ou changez de prise. Le voyant 3 est rouge et l alarme sonne toutes les 30 secondes : l EBT a subit une surcharge excessive en sortie. La sortie peut encore être alimentée si la surcharge n est pas trop forte. Débranchez en sortie l appareil en cause.le voyant 1 est rouge et l alarme sonne toutes les 30 sec : l EBT subit un défaut. La sortie n est plus alimentée. Les voyants 1 et 3 clignotent et l alarme sonne toutes les 30 sec : la batterie est arrivée en fin de vie. 2

3 1. CONNECTION OF THE EBT.1/230 Open the housing 1.1 supply connection and control Unscrew the gland 1. Provide a 3 wires cable + T for supply and let it go through the gland 1.Connect the cable to the terminal 1, 2 for supply, to the terminal 3 in order to have the possibility to pilot the actuator (terminal 3 to the terminal 2), to the terminal 0 for the earth connection 1.2 connection supply valve/actuator Unscrew the gland 2 and run the actuator cable. Connect the actuator cable to the terminal 1 of the actuator in the terminal 4 of the EBT, to the terminal 2 of the actuator in the terminal 5 of the EBT,to the terminal 3 of the actuator in the terminal 6 of the EBT. Close the housing 2. USING Before charging, reconnect the red wire with faston of the battery (disconnect for security during the transport) and push the isolator yellow button.the EBT charges his battery as soon as he is connected to the local supply circuit. For the first using, we recommend to let the battery in charge for 8 hours. All the appliances, which are connected to the secured exit are supplied as soon as the EBT works and the light 4 comes out. If the current is wrong or missing, the EBT continues to work on its battery : the light 2 comes out green and the alarm emits a signal every 10 seconds and then every 3 seconds when the autonomy of the battery is close to the end. If the current is missing longer than the autonomy of the batterie the EBT automatically stops when the current comes back. When the battery runs completely down, some hours are needed to get to a full battery. If the EBT is not used properly, either with a too strong appliance or with a wrong one, the light 3 comes out in red then the alarm sounds, when the overcharge is too strong, the EBT stop supplying its exits. If the EBT has an internal default or is connected on a short circuit, the light 1 comes out in red and the alarm sounds, the EBT stop supplying its exit. You have the possibility to let the EBT in charge permanently. The EBT has the protection against the over-voltages. 3. USING OF THE BATTERY The EBT is equipped with a lead battery 12/5Ah which supply has to be in accordance with the legilation. Caution : battery life decreases in 50% each 10 C above 25 C ; this battery can only be replaced by qualified persons (electrocution risk) and just with battery authorized to guaranty a good functioning of the EBT. 4. WARRANTY The EBT is guaranted 1 year. It provides dangerous voltages even disconnected. Before any intervention, push the isolator yellow button and disconnect the battery red wire. The EBT provides dangerous voltages inside : Only qualified technicians can open it after disconnecting it from the plug. The EBT is made for electrical appliances with a power lower than 195 W. Please be sure that the current s total leakage of the EBT and the appliances connected on it have a power lower than 2.7 ma (CE certification). 6. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE LIGHTS The light 1 is green and the alarm frequently sounds : the current coming from the wall plug has a bad quality so the EBT usualy works on battery.please ask a professional to verify your electrical connection or change the plug. The light 3 is red and the alarm sounds every 30 seconds : EBT suffers from an excessive over-charge from the exit. The exit still can be supplied if the over-charge is not too strong. Unplug the appliance, that causes the problem, from the exit.the light 1 is red and the alarm sounds every 30 seconds : EBT suffered from a flow. The exit is not supplied anymore. The lights 1 and 3 flicker and the alarm sounds every 30 seconds, the battery is close to the end. 3
