Criteria taken into account 1) Performances of the harmonics in gases for a 2.5 mj Ti: Sa laser and f=2m -At 266 nm (H3) E>50 nj -At 160 nm (H5) E>5 nj -At 114 nm (H7) E>0.5 nj -At 89 nm (H9) E>0.5 nj But optimising at H5 for starting 2) Vacuum needs -10-9 mbar in the linac -10-3 -10-4 mbar in the harmonic generation chamber 3) Resistance of the mirrors to damages in the transport-line coming from IR laser: 2.5 mj, 10 Hz, 100 fs 4) Geometrical constraints due to the accelerator and the building
