ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN CONTROLE D'ACCÈS VIA INTERNET 1] ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE SYSTEM A - First time connection (local connection only) Your system is now connected, for direct access with a crossover cable, according to the recommendations detailed in the previous pages. To access the administration interface on your browser, the default address is : http://192.168.0.100:8087/admin This address gives you access to a first security level. The default access codes are: Username: admin Password: terena The password assigned by default may be modified in the Administration menu (see next page). 3

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN ADMINISTRATION INTERFACE You are now on the Administration page. The greyed zones are inactive and are default settings, whereas the active zones are enabled and may be modified by the administrator. In the attached table, you will find all of the details concerning the administrators settings. A B C D E F G H J I K L N M A INTERFACE OPTIONS For details see the following pages. D ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD For security reasons it is highly recommended to change the default administrator password. B LANGUAGE C SITE NAME E MAC ADRESS F LOCAL IP ADDRESS The Internet community has defined three appropriate address classes for networks of different sizes. There are: large sized networks (class A), medium sized networks (class B) and small sized networks (class C). The size of the network is based on the number of potentially connected hosts. These addresses are used for private networks (local) and are never assigned on the Internet. In conclusion, according to the class of your network, you can define a specific address for your local network (see table). A CONFIGURATION Ethernet connection setup and data initialisation. B READERS Allows you to adjust reader settings in the event of a fault. C DATA RESTORATION Restores data using the backup file (see page 14). D UPDATE This option allows you to update the system using the update package we supply (see page 14). E MAINTENANCE By clicking on the Maintenance icon, prepares to shut down to enable maintenance operations and thus avoid loss of data during the intervention. F RESTART Reboots the system. G EXIT Allows you to exit the interface. When all the configuration of the controller have been set then restart the controller to save all new settings. Click on the Restart icon. 5

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN READERS A B C D E A READER NUMBER Enter a reader number manually. B INSTALL Select the install icon when the reader is being installed for the first time. C DELETE Press on the delete icon to remove a reader. D REPLACE When a reader has been installed and then deleted it is important to select this option to install again a reader. E SYNCHRONIZE FILES Allows you to synchronize files with the existing settings. After carrying out any operations on this interface, it is necessary to synchronize the files. When the administrator options have been validated, restart the system so that the settings occur when the system is restarted. 6

B LOAD FILE The restoration data is transferred to the central control unit. C EXTRACT THE FILES Mandatory operation after any backup data restoration. D SEND ALL Complete data restoration. H SEND READER GROUPS Download the reader groups only. I SEND SCHEDULE GROUPS Download the schedule groups. J SEND HOLIDAY PERIODS Download the holiday periods only. E SEND CONFIGURATION Download the configuration settings. K EVENT INITIALISATION Reinitialises the events information. F SEND READERS Download the readers. L REFRESH USERS ON SD CARD When user database on the SD card is corrupted then reload the user database from the controller memory. When you restore the entire database then click on UPLOAD ALL icon. Otherwise you MUST click on EXTRACT FILES first and then upload the data you wish to restore from the database. 7

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN UPDATE A D B C A UPDATE FILE Selects the file to be sent according to the sending order detailed below. B LOAD FILE Sends the file to the control unit. C SYSTEM UPDATE Once the update file has been successfully sent, installs the update package on the system. Sending order for the update files : Admin.tar. www.tar. Executable.tar Binary.tar System.tar. Restart the system to validate the update (D). D RESTART Reboots the entire system. 8

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN 2] OPERATORS MENU MENU: OPERATORS Click on the OPERATORS icon to access the View and Modify sub-menus. SUB-MENU: VIEW This option allows the administrator to consult the profile of each operator. To modify the operator properties, click on CLOSE then MODIFY in the OPERATORS tab. SUB-MENU : MODIFY This interface allows you to manage the operator properties as well as the settings available according to the operator (using the connection password to the management interface). 10

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN 3] SITE MENU MENU : SITE Click on the icon SITE to access the sub-menus : VIEW, MODIFY, ACTIVE READERS, READER STATUS, ALARM BOARDS and DATE AND TIME. SUB-MENU : VIEW This option allows the operator to have an overall view of the site. To modify the characteristics of a site, click on CLOSE then MODIFY in the SITE tab. SUB-MENU : MODIFY This interface allows you to manage the characteristics of a site (for more details, see the next page). 11

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN MODIFY SITE A B D C D E F G H I A COUNTING ZONE This feature let you define the number of zones. B NUMBER OF FILES Indicates the number of users and readers programmed on the site. C ELEVATOR CONTROLLER Enter the reader number that will operate the elevator controller. It is possible to define the same reader for the 4 elevator controllers. F REQUEST-TO-EXIT EVENTS When activated the event request-to-enter appears in the events list. G REQUEST-TO-ENTER EVENTS When activated the event request-to-exit appears in the events list. H I/O MODULES Arming and management of I/O modules. The boards are armed in this order: 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 (Green = Armed / Red = Disarmed) D NUMBER OF READERS It informs the operator of the number of readers, which were installed on the site. Some readers might be deleted from the controller. For more information about the active readers go to reader status menu. I TYPE Definition of the type of card functioning (for the 14 relays): - Green = Normally Closed (Event is reported on opening). - Red = Normally Open (Event is reported on closing). E UNLOCK TIME Enter the time in 10 th of seconds. It is the time activation of the relays on the elevator controller. 12

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN SUB-MENU : MODIFY - Click on ZONE (button at the bottom of the display). - Assign a name to a/the defined zone(s) (max. 16 characters). - Note the number of spaces per zone. - Select the full status or not (Y/N). SUB-MENU: ACTIVE READERS Overall view of the reader controller. Readers never installed. Readers installed and online. Readers cancelled (reader installed and then delete from the network) SUB-MENU : «READER STATUS Display the status of the readers. Installed and OK. Never installed. Faulty. Reader cancelled (may be replaced by a new reader) SUB-MENU : I/O MODULES Display the status of the relays on the boards and defines a name for each relay. Normal status. Not managed. Alarm. 13

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN 4] READERS MENU (DOOR CONTROLLER AND READER ADDRESS SETTINGS) Reader address settings must be entered one at a time and in numerical order. It is NOT possible to skip a reader that was never installed. The installation mode can only be activated on one reader at a time. MENU : READERS. Click on the READERS icon to access the VIEW, CONFIGURE and READER GROUP sub-menus. SUB-MENU : VIEW. This option allows the administrator to have an overall view of the Reader settings section. To modify a the characteristics of a reader, click on CLOSE then CONFIGURE in the READER tab. SUB-MENU : MODIFY READERS Unlock time (For details, see the next page). 14

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN A B C D F E G A A RENAME READERS Allows you to rename the reader in READER NAME. B UNLOCK TIME From 1 to 99 seconds or for a latch mode enter 0. C LATCH MODE - Latch mode = y. - When a tag is swiped or the request-to-exit button pressed, the output remains activated (the door remains unlocked) (LED turns solid green). - When a tag is swiped or the request-to-exit pressed, the output is deactivated the door is locked (the LED starts flashing orange). D FREE ACCESS - Enter 0 to disable the free access. - Enter a schedule group from 1 to 30. - Holidays (click to confirm the holidays or not). - Automatic mode (if a schedule group is defined, automatic mode enables it to be activated at the set time. If the automatic mode is not activated then the free access starts when the first man in swipes a valid card on the card reader). E ANTI-PASSBACK ON READERS - A reader is assigned or not to a zone (up to 8 zones). - Select Entry or Exit for each reader. - Allocation of an entry/exit counting zone. F DOOR STATUS - If Green = Yes ; If Red = «No», - Possibility of activating these options: indicates if the door is left open too long. Select Door Forced Open if you want to monitor a forced door. (1 to 99 second time delay before alarm is triggered). G OPERATING MODE* - Downgraded mode = permanent closing and opening if a tag is detected. - Standalone mode = permanent closing and opening if a priority tag is swiped and stored in the reader controller s memory. - Opening = Permanent opening. - Closing = Permanent closing. * Operating mode in the event of loss of communication with the RS485 BUS. 15

SUB-MENU : READER GROUP Modifying the reader groups Select the readers associated with each group then save. By clicking on the NAME button, you can modify the name of a reader group. 17

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN 5] SCHEDULE GROUPS MENU MENU : SCHEDULE GROUPS Click on the SCHEDULE GROUPS icon to access the sub-menus : VIEW READERS, MODIFY READERS and HOLIDAYS. SUB-MENU: VIEW SCHEDULE GROUP. Allows you to view schedule groups with pre-defined time periods for throughout the year. SUB-MENU: MODIFY READERS. Allows you to define schedule groups with pre-defined time periods for throughout the year. By clicking on the NAME button, you can rename each schedule group. 18

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN SUB-MENU : HOLIDAYS Allows you to define holidays in the pre-defined schedule groups for throughout the year. 6] USERS MENU MENU: USERS Click on the USERS icon to access the sub-menus: ADD CARDHOLDER, VIEW, MODIFY, REMOVE and IDENTIFY BADGE. SUB-MENU: ADD CARDHOLDER. This sub-menu allows you to add a new user. 19

C AUTHORISATION / HOLIDAYS Badge is valid and can be used on the holidays. D START/ END OF VALIDITY Start and end of validity of a badge E GLOBAL END TIME End of validity time. F ZONES Select the counting zones which will be active for the user. G GROUPS Select the reader group and the schedule group. A user can have up to 2 readers groups and 2 schedule groups. If the GROUPS are not programmed then the access level rights will be defined in the Readers. H COUNTER Number of authorised entries in a zone linked to the readers 1 and 3. I ELEVATORS To set the authorized floors for each user select the relays in ELEVATORS icon #1 for relays 1 to 14, icon #2 for the next 14 relays and so forth. J INDIVIDUAL SCHEDULE Defines the schedules for that particular user only. K READERS Assigns the authorised readers for a user. Select the readers to set the access level of that user. L TAGS List of badges that can be used by the user. 20

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN SUB-MENU: VIEW USER Click on the view icon to display the user properties information stored (access control information and personal information). SUB-MENU : DELETE USER To delete a user click on DELETE and all the information on that user will be permanently removed (access control information and Personal information). SUB-MENU : MODIFY USER Enables access to modify the information stored on a user (access control information and personal information). SUB-MENU : IDENTIFY A BADGE Swipe the badge in front of the CMPP enrolment terminal unit or enter the badge number click on the icon search. If the badge belongs to a user then the user properties file is displayed. 21

ONLINE HELP Web Based Access Control EN 7] EVENTS MENU MENU : EVENTS Monitoring, Modify and Modify filter on the events. MENU : MONITORING Click on the icon EVENTS to access the MONITORING sub-menu. The events are automatically displayed with a time delay which varies according to the internet connection rate. SUB-MENU : MODIFY FILTER. Reports events over a defined period and according to the selected criteria. The filter criteria are totally independent.
