MAINTENANCE DAILY MAINTENANCE The only daily maintenance necessary is thorough cleaning. Follow the cleaning procedures in this manual. EXTENDED MAINTENANCE Some pump parts eventually wear out from use and must be replaced. The following list indicates the available repair kits for the parts replaced by each kit. However, pump performance is the only reliable indicator of when to replace wear parts. Refer to the Troubleshooting section for more information on when to use these kits. This may be caused by improper cleaning and/or storage.. Unscrew the inlet valve assembly from the unit with a crescent wrench.. Unscrew the inlet nut using a / inch allen wrench.. Remove excess paint or Housing Inlet valve assembly Inlet nut rust from the ball and seat or replace with new parts from kit P/N 0 (0, 0) or P/N 0 (0, 0, 0). You may also have to clean excess paint inside the housing.. Inspect the inlet O-ring on the inlet valve. Clean or replace, and lubricate with a light household oil.. Reassemble ball, carbide seat, and O-rings in the order shown below into the inlet valve.
