Référence Européenne des Qualifications dans le secteur de la conserverie de la pêche et des fruits de mer 2009-1-ES1-LEO05-10403 Projets de transfert d'innovation Clôturé Ce projet mettra au point une référence européenne des qualifications existantes dans le secteur de la conserverie de la pêche et des fruits de mer pour comparer les qualifications des systèmes de formation professionnelle dans les différents pays européens. Résumé: The European Qualifications Framework (EQF)has foreseen that Member States relate their national qualifications systems to the EQF by 2010 and that their qualifications contain a reference to the EQF by 2012. Enabling therefore individuals and employers to use the EQF as a reference tool to compare the qualifications levels of different countries and different vocational training systems. This project has collaborated to the transparency of qualifications elaborating a European reference of the qualifications existing in the fish and seafood cannery sector to compare the qualifications levels in the vocational training systems of different countries in Europe. This proposal has transfered the innovation from other similar project that developed this European reference in other food industry sector. The organizations that took part of this project are related with the fish and seafood cannery sector and/or are vocational training institutions working on the development of the vocational training systems, with a lot of experience in Leonardo da Vinci projects. The tangible results have been a reference tool, with the European Reference of the qualifications existing in the fish and seafood cannery sector in order to be used by the stakeholders and policy makers responsible of the development of the national qualifications systems, to give them a reference to the EQF. This document was meant to be a proposal on a transparency and mutual recognition system. The intangible results have been the transparency and recognition of competences and qualifications in the fish and seafood cannery sector, include those acquired through nonformal and informal learning, supporting to the EQF to establish the European qualifications in this field. The results have also been a reference to promote the transparency of qualifications; to promote the lifelong learning; the mobility throughout Europe of people involved in initial vocational education and training and in continuing training related to this sector; and have improved the quality of the national vocational training systems. Produit 'European Reference Tool for Professional Qualifications in the fish and seafood and Cannery sector' Titre: European Reference Tool for Professional Qualifications in the fish and seafood and Cannery sector Type de Produit: Transparence et certification Texte marketing: This European Reference Tool for Professional Qualifications intends to: Bring closer the vocational training system to the companies in this sector, as well to the workers, encouraging the training inside them. Increase the competitiveness of these companies, having more qualified staff and improving their productivity and quality. Improve the qualifications of the workers, as they are motivated to participate in training activities in their countries or in other partner country, to complete their qualifications and to obtain the formal certification, the official recognition in each country. Description: EUROSEA project aimed to increase the competitiveness of the fish and seafood cannery companies through the improvement of the professional qualifications of their workers and, at the same time, to make these companies more competent in the European market. Cible: The stakeholders of the sector (professional organizations, training providers, trade-unions, National Institutes of Qualifications, the Educational and Vocational Training Systems - ECVET, etc) should take advantage of this European Reference tool of Qualifications, as it was developed at European level. Also, the different levels of qualifications in each country were compared and translated into the levels of the European Qualification Framework. Résultat: European Reference Tool for Professional Qualifications in the fish and seafood cannery sector is available in 5 languages: English, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Portuguese and Finnish. It has been planned as further development of the project to design a training course based on the EUROSEA findings about professional qualifications in the sector. The European Reference tool was consider by the stakeholders as a major contribution for the recognition of the importance of the professional qualifications in the development of a traditional sector such as fish and seafood cannery. The impact of the project was measured through the continuous participation of the stakeholders in meetings, seminars and workgroups during all the project. A positive feedback and assessment was showed through the different evaluation tools used.
