4 Budget et Financement des lignes thématiques pour l instrument PME en 2014 Rappel : l instrument PME est un appel continu en 2 phases avec plusieurs cut-off par an : 5 cut-off en 2014 : 3 en phases 1 (18 juin, 24 sept., et 17 déc.) 2 en phases 2 (9 oct. et 17 déc.) 4 cut-off simultanés en phase 1 et en phase 2 en 2015 : 4 en phases 1 (18 mars, 17 juin,17 sept. et 25 nov.) 4 en phases 2 (18 mars, 17 juin,17 sept. et 25 nov.) La Phase 1 de l Instrument PME est dotée d un montant forfaitaire de 50.000 par projet de façon à effectuer la faisabilité et la viabilité des études concernant leurs stratégies d innovation et de commercialisation. La phase 2 de l Instrument PME peut varier entre 0,5 et 2,5 M pour une durée de 24 mois maximum. 16

Le marché des diagnostics est en pleine expansion, en particulier celui des biomarqueurs 90% des entreprises du secteur sont des PME Véritable décalage entre les 25 000 biomarqueurs identifiés annuellement mais qui ne sont pas validés -> «market failure» à cause d investissements insuffisants La CE a publié une proposition de règlement sur les dispositifs médicaux de diagnostic in vitro -> l environnement réglementaire va changer et il va falloir des preuves cliniques supplémentaires
