R&D pour entreprises Elimination of liquid mercury inside a polymeric concrete optimum for building industry (Ref: 10 ES 28G2 3H53 ) A Spanish public research organisation has developed a stabilizing procedure for liquid mercury, a highly polluting material produced in different industrial processes, by a method which allows its efficient elimination from the environment while producing a material attractive for building purposes. The resulting sulphur polymeric concrete possesses interesting mechanical properties. Partners interested in a patent license are sought.
