Faculté de Gestion Faculty of Business Administration BACHELOR EN ADMINISTRATION DES AFFAIRES (BAA) BACHELOR IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA) GRADE Bachelor en Administration des Affaires (BAA) OBJECTIFS Le Bachelor en Administration des affaires est un programme professionnel et multidisciplinaire qui permet d aborder les multiples facettes de l administration d une organisation : planification, direction, encadrement, organisation et gestion des activités. DOUBLE DIPLÔME Au terme de sa formation, l étudiant se verra décerner un double diplôme; libanais décerné par l'université Libano-Canadienne et franco-suisse conféré par l Institut des Professions des Affaires et du Commerce (IPAC), France et la Fondation Internationale de Genève pour la Formation Académique et Professionnelle, Suisse. Il en sera de même pour l étudiant inscrit à l IPAC - France. SPÉCIALITÉS Le programme du BAA compte huit spécialités : 1. Finance & Banques 2. Comptabilité & Audit 3. Marketing 4. Gestion des ressources humaines 5. Informatique de gestion 6. Gestion internationale 7. Gestion touristique et hôtelière 8. Économie LANGUES D ENSEIGNEMENT Le programme est offert en français et/ou en anglais. DURÉE DU PROGRAMME Trois ans (90 crédits) HORAIRE D ÉTUDES Cours de jour et cours de soir 2 semestres d études par année universitaire : Automne et printemps (cours d été optionnels) CONDITIONS D ADMISSION Baccalauréat libanais ou son équivalent Agrément du comité académique de l Université après étude du dossier scolaire du candidat Freshman accrédité (programmes disponibles à la LCU) DÉBOUCHÉS Le BAA prépare l étudiant à assurer des responsabilités auprès des décideurs de l entreprise. Le diplômé en BAA constitue une valeur ajoutée pour l organisation qui l'emploie. DEGREE Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) OBJECTIVES The Bachelor in Business Administration is a professional and multidisciplinary program that acquaints the student with the multifaceted business management techniques, namely planning, administration, supervision, organization and management of activities. DOUBLE DIPLOMA Upon a successful completion of the program, LCU students will be awarded a double degree: Lebanese delivered by the Lebanese Canadian University and Franco-Swiss granted by the «Institut des Professions des Affaires et du Commerce (IPAC)» - France and the «Fondation Internationale de Genève pour la Formation académique et professionnelle» - Switzerland. The same applies to IPAC students - France. MAJORS The BBA program entails eight majors: 1. Banking & Finance 2. Accounting & Audit 3. Marketing 4. Human Resources Management 5. Business Computing 6. International Business 7. Tourism and Hotel Management 8. Economics LANGUAGES OF INSTRUCTION The program is offered in French and/or in English. PROGRAM DURATION Three years (90 credits) COURSE SCHEDULE Day and evening courses 2 semesters per academic year : Fall and spring (summer courses are optional) ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent The consent of the University s Academic Advisory Committee after studying the applicant s school file Accredited Freshman (programs available at LCU) CAREER OPPORTUNITIES The BBA prepares students to assume responsibilities towards companies decision-makers. Entreprises de tous les secteurs (petites, moyennes ou grandes), industries variées, universités, institutions financières, gouvernement, municipalités, commerces, sociétés de fiducie, firmes de consultation, entreprises de services financiers, compagnies d'assurances, agences de publicité, médias d'information, entreprises des technologies de l'information, firmes comptables, industries de l'électronique, entreprises de télécommunications, compagnies d'électricité, compagnies de transfert des marchandises et des capitaux, travail autonome, etc. L obtention de ce diplôme permet à l étudiant d entreprendre des études de cycle supérieur. DOCUMENTS REQUIS POUR L ADMISSION 3 photos passeport récentes; Une photocopie de la carte nationale d'identité ou l'extrait d état civil individuel récent (ou une photocopie du passeport pour les étrangers); Une photocopie certifiée de l extrait d'état civil familial récent (seulement pour les Libanais); Une attestation originale de la Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale ou de son équivalent, s il y a lieu; L'attestation du Baccalauréat libanais ou d'un diplôme jugé équivalent certifiée conforme par le Ministère de l'education et de l Enseignement supérieur; Les détenteurs du Baccalauréat Technique (BT3) doivent faire certifier leur diplôme et en demander l équivalence auprès de la Commission des équivalences; Une photocopie du relevé de notes des trois dernières années secondaires certifiée conforme par l'établissement scolaire; L'attestation des études universitaires déjà accomplies, s'il y a lieu; Les documents précités doivent être en français ou en anglais ; sinon ils doivent être accompagnés d une traduction certifiée française ou anglaise, faite à l université, à l exception de l extrait d Etat civil familial et l attestation de la CNSS. REQUIRED ADMISSION DOCUMENTS 3 recent passport-size photos; A photocopy of the National Identity Card or a recent Personal Civil Status Record (or a photocopy of the passport for foreign applicants); A certified photocopy of a recent Family Civil Status Record (for Lebanese nationals only); An attestation from the National Social Security Fund or its equivalent, if applicable; A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent issued by the Ministry of Higher Education; Holders of the Technical Baccalaureate (BT3) must have their degree certified and then receive the equivalent rating of their degree by the Commission of equivalences; A copy of the official transcripts, certified by the school of origin, for the last three years of secondary school; A certified copy of the official transcripts of any prior university study, if applicable; Documents must be prepared in French or in English; if not, they must be accompanied with certified French or English translations made at the university, except for the Family Civil Status Record and the attestation from the National Social Security Fund (NSSF).
