Information sur le projet Titre: Code Projet: Année: 2013 Type de Projet: Statut: Accroche marketing: OPEN - Ouvert à l'apprentissage en langue des signes 2013-1-ES1-LEO05-66234 Projets de transfert d'innovation Accordé ES-Espagne La plate-forme ouverte multi-langue est un outil éducatif pour l'apprentissage de la langue anglaise en combinaison avec six différentes langues des signes ou des systèmes internationaux. La plate-forme multi-langue ouvert, conçu et mis en œuvre par des experts de la langue des signes et de l'éducation de langue, fournira signataires européens avec un nouvel outil avec des cours de vidéo à: L anglais; La langue des signes internationale, L'espagnole, L'italienne, la polonais, la grecque et la suédois. Les vidéos seront sous-titrés et structurés dans des unités où différentes situations de la vie pour être reproduits afin d'avoir accès à des mots et des expressions les plus utiles. Toutes les unités seront divisées en niveaux de compétence selon le Cadre Européen Commun de Référence pour les Langues (CECR) qui a été récemment adoptée par la plupart des langues des signes de l'ue ainsi. Résumé: Why is this project necessary? The lack of quality education because of the exclusion of deaf people. Bilingual education is the only way for deaf children to gain equal opportunities and allowing them to become full citizens in their own right. (This was the final conclusion from the sign language conference in Ål, Norway, organised jointly by the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD), the European Union of the Deaf (EUD), and Ål Experiential College). Becoming bilingual in the national sign language and the written language of one's country of residence is a fundamental right for deaf children. National sign languages are the mother tongues of deaf people and the only language they can acquire fully and effortlessly. To function in society it is essential for deaf children to become proficient in the respective (written) language of the country. Therefore, meaningful bilingualism must be ensured in education as early as possible and throughout the course of the whole educational path, including Lifelong Learning Programmes. Why we choose to solve this problem and not others? The educational needs of hearing people can be improved, but the educational needs of deaf people are forgotten. Our project addresses the needs of the hearing impaired people to be proficient in their written language by creating an efficient tool which will allow incorporation of all learning methods for international sign language, up to C3 (Common European Framework of Reference for Language). General Objectives - Eliminate communication barriers and foster the learning of foreign language for the deaf. - Make available to learn other languages and cultural diversity for the deaf through ICT, the methodology of e-learning. - Ensuring equal opportunities for deaf people to participate in training activities of this kind. Specific Objectives - Designing a tool for language learning for people with hearing impairment. Product / result - Designing an e-learning educational package for learning the English language combined with the international sign system. - Transferable methodological tool to use for learning other languages. Produit 'OPEN TOOL - Multi-language platform' Titre: OPEN TOOL - Multi-language platform Type de Produit: Enseignement à distance Texte marketing: The OPEN Multi-language platform is an educational tool for learning the English language in combination with 6 different sign languages/systems. The OPEN Multi-language platform, designed and implemented by sign language and language education experts, will provide European signers with a new tool with video courses in: - English - International Sign (IS) - Italian Sign Language (LSI) - Poland Sign Language (PSL) - Greek Sign Language (GSL) - Sweden Sign Language (SwSL) - Spanish Sign Language (SpSL) Description: Videos will be subtitled and structured in units where different "everday life" situations will be reproduced in in order to have access to the most useful words and expressions. All units will be divided in level of proficiency according to the CEFR which has been recently adopted by most of EU sign languages as well. Cible: Training Centers Résultat: At this time the platform is in its Beta version. The partners are working in shooting videos. Then we'll do a test platform (driver) to correct possible errors and test its effectiveness.
