Criteria for students selection : May apply for the Bourse d'accueil Regionale (regional scholarship): -Students under 30, newly arrived in France for the academic year 2014/2015, who have been pre-selected by Le Mans University (Universite du Maine) and who do not possess French nationality. -Students who are undergraduate (who have validated their bachelor degree) and want to register to a recently approved International master. - Students who will attend an academic training lasting 35 weeks (8 months) and who will remain for a minimum of 22 weeks within the area of the Pays de la Loire (Academy of Nantes). -Students who are currently attending an academic training with a schooling status and who have not interrupted their studies for more than two years in order to carry out an occupational activity. -Students who will not benefit from a scholarship from the European Union, from the French State (such as the Eiffel program) or from any institution located in the region of the Pays de la Loire. -Application forms will be reviewed with respect to students' academic success (see application form). 2. Application form - Part 1: Part 1 of the application form must be completed only by Le Mans University (Universite du Maine). 3. Application form - Part 2 (to be completed by the student): All the fields in Part 2 should be completed by the student. For the application form to be admissible, the student should date and sign the form on page 4. 1

2 4. The application form should be returned via in Word and PDF format. 5. Required additional documents to be provided by the student (in PDF format with the student s NAME and First name according to the passport identity : Reminder: all documents provided in another language must be accompanied by a French translation. -Application form duly filled out and signed (in Word and PDF format). -Curriculum Vitae including the list of the student's diplomas, work experience and academic training (stating places and academic years). -Copy of the last university diploma along with the transcript of records. -Photocopy of a valid passport or identity card. -Certificate of attendance from the home university for the academic year stating the name, academic years and the level of the diploma (1 st or 2 nd year for master degrees). NB: The academic calendar will be provided by Le Mans University (Université du Maine). Warning: Any application returned after the deadline and/or incomplete will not be considered. Deadlines : - Applications will be ranked and sent by Le Mans University (Universite du Maine) to the regional institution, at the latest by April, 30th A final decision will be delivered by the regional board on the 7 th of July 2014 and Le Mans University (Universite du Maine) will be able to inform the candidates from the 15 th of July Second part of the additional documents must be sent as soon as possible (within a fortnight after the student s arrival at Le Mans University Universite du Maine). Please see page 4 of the application form. Payment of the «Bourse d accueil»: After review and compliance of the documents, the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire (Region) will proceed, during the academic year, to the payment of the 2 parts of the scholarship (directly to the students). 1) 1 st payment will be due in November or December ) 2 nd payment will be due in March or April 3000 During the academic year, certificates of attendance for studies and placement will be sent to the Region Council. In order to definitely acquire the first payment, an attendance of 22 weeks within the area of the Pays de la Loire (Academy of Nantes) must be justified (first period). In order to definitely acquire the second payment, an attendance of 35 weeks within the area of the Pays de la Loire (Academy of Nantes) must be justified (including first and second period). 2

3 Candidates obligations: - Candidates must get acquainted with the Rules and Conditions of the «Bourse d accueil» scholarship in their entirety and especially with the articles regarding the scholarship (through the document delivered by the French host institution). - Candidates must be aware of the terms and conditions of the financial support granted by this programme, must accept them and commit to fulfil their obligations. - Candidates must know that the Regional institution of the Pays de la Loire reserves the right to ask for the financial support to be repaid in case of non compliance with the programme s obligations or eligibility conditions. - Candidates must attend to all the distributed lessons and take all the examinations given in the frame of the academic training undertaken in the French host institution and, if the case may be, must look for a placement with priority given to institutions located in the region of the Pays de la Loire. - Candidates must inform the French host institution in charge of the exchange programme, as well as the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire, of any changes regarding their application form, their professional project (duly justified) or their mobility (academic training interruption, changes in the placement s location, address modification ) Candidates must provide the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire and their French host institution with a written assessment of their mobility, along with the required attendance certificates, at the latest one month after the end of each period financially supported by the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire. Candidates commit to repay the completeness of the financial support to the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire, if their mobility is no longer eligible to the scholarship granted under this programme during the academic training. Candidates commit to answer to any request from the regional institution of the Pays de la Loire, even though the request may be subsequent to their mobility within the area of the Pays de la Loire (feedback form, information requests, contacts ). 3

Critères de sélection des étudiants : Peuvent postuler à la bourse d'accueil régionale : -Les étudiants primo-arrivants en France pour l année universitaire 2014/2015, de moins de 30 ans présélectionnés par l'université du Maine et qui ne possèdent pas de nationalité française. -Les étudiants qui ont validé leur troisième année de Licence et qui veulent s'inscrire dans un master international habilité récemment. -Les étudiants qui suivront une formation pendant au moins 35 semaines (8 mois) et qui resteront dans la région des Pays de la Loire (académie de Nantes) pendant 22 semaines minimum. -Les étudiants qui suivent un parcours individuel de formation initiale sous statut scolaire, qui n ont pas interrompu leurs études depuis plus de deux ans pour exercer une activité professionnelle. -Les étudiants qui ne bénéficieront pas d'une bourse de l'union Européenne, de l État Français (type Bourse Eiffel) ou de tout autre organisme de la région des Pays de la Loire. -Les candidatures seront examinées par rapport à la réussite académique des étudiants (voir formulaire). 2. Formulaire - Partie 1 : La partie 1 du dossier (signalée en bleu) doit être complétée uniquement par l Université du Maine. 3. Formulaire - Partie 2 (à compléter par l'étudiant) : Tous les champs de la partie 2 du formulaire (signalée en vert) doivent être complétés par l'étudiant. Pour que le dossier soit recevable, l'étudiant devra dater et signer le formulaire en page 4. 4

5 4. Le retour du dossier doit se faire par courriel au format Word et PDF. 5. Pièces à fournir par l'étudiant pour la sélection (au format PDF avec les NOM et Prénom de l étudiant avec la même orthographe que sur le passeport). Rappel : Tout document en langue étrangère doit être accompagné de sa traduction en français. -Formulaire complété et signé (au format Word et PDF). -Curriculum Vitae récapitulant : la liste des diplômes obtenus, des formations suivies et des stages réalisés en précisant les lieux et les années. -Copie du dernier diplôme obtenu et des relevés de notes. -Photocopie du passeport ou de la carte d'identité en cours de validité. -Certificat de scolarité étranger pour l'année universitaire précisant le nom du diplôme et l année de formation suivie (1 ère ou 2 ème année) NB : Le calendrier de la formation sera fourni par l'université du Maine. Important : Tout dossier remis hors délai ou incomplet ne sera pas étudié. Dates limites : - Les candidatures classees seront envoyées par l Université du Maine à la Region le 30 avril 2014 au plus tard. - La decision finale du Conseil régional sera prononcée le 07 juillet 2014 et l Université du Maine pourra vous informer à partir du 15 juillet Les documents qui devront compléter le dossier ultérieurement devront être transmis dans les plus brefs délais (pas plus tard qu'en septembre 2014) (vor page 4 du formulaire de candidature). Versement de la bourse d accueil : Ce n est qu après vérification de la conformité de des documents que la Région procédera aux 2 versements de la bourse pendant l année académique (directement aux étudiants): 1) 1 er versement : Novembre ou Décembre ) 2 nd versement : Mars ou Avril 3000 Au cours de l année académique, les certificats de présence en études et en stage seront envoyés au Conseil Régional. Pour acquérir définitivement le premier versement, il faut justifier de 22 semaines de présence (première période) dans la région des Pays de la Loire. Pour acquérir définitivement le second versement, il faut justifier de 35 semaines de présence (première et seconde période) dans la région des Pays de la Loire. 5

6 Obligations des candidats : - prendre connaissance auprès de l établissement d accueil de l intégralité du règlement Bourses d accueil et en particulier des articles concernant la bourse, - connaitre les conditions d attribution de l aide financière régissant ce programme, en accepter les modalités et s engager à les respecter, - être informé(e) que la Région des Pays de la Loire se réserve le droit de demander le reversement des sommes déjà perçues en cas de non respect des obligations ou des conditions d éligibilité à ce programme, - à assister à la totalité des cours dispensés et à se présenter aux examens dans le cadre de la formation préparée dans l établissement de formation ligérien d inscription et, le cas échéant, à rechercher prioritairement un stage dans un organisme localisé en Pays de la Loire, - informer l établissement ligérien responsable de l échange ainsi que la Région des Pays de la Loire de toute modification relative au dossier de candidature, à mon projet (avec justification), puis au séjour (interruption de formation, changement de lieu de stage, changement d adresse ) - à fournir à la Région des Pays de la Loire et à mon établissement d accueil un bilan de mon séjour ainsi que les attestations de présence requises, au plus tard un mois après la fin de la période aidée par la Région, - à reverser en totalité à la Région la bourse perçue s il s avérait au cours de cette formation que le séjour n est plus éligible à une aide au titre de ce dispositif, - à répondre à toute sollicitation de la Région des Pays de la Loire même si elle est ultérieure à mon année en Pays de la Loire (questionnaire, demandes d'information diverses, contacts ). 6
