L opérateur de téléphonie mobile Optimum Telecom Algérie (OTA, Djezzy) a inauguré aujourd hui un nouveau centre de formation à Bir Mourad Rais (Alger), en présence de son PDG, Vincenzo Nesci, et de recteurs des universités et des grandes écoles du centre du pays. Destiné à la formation des 4.000 employés de l entreprise, le centre a déjà dispensé 1,5 million d heures de cours. Ses responsables prévoient de former 95% du personnel d OTA d ici à fin 2013. Selon eux, l entreprise consacre chaque année 2 millions de dollars à la formation du personnel. Selon le PDG d OTA Vincenzo Nesci, qui s exprimait lors d une conférence de pesse tenue à l occasion de l inauguration, du moment que l entreprise n a pas pu investir dans son réseau, elle «investit dans la ressource humaine». Elle a élaboré, a-t-il indiqué, un programme de formation avec Wind, le partenaire italien dans le groupe Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH), pour former le personnel à la technologie de 3 ème génération mobile (3G). Pour rappel, Djezzy, qui est passé dans l escarcelle du russe Vimpelcom, est sous le coup d une interdiction de transfert de dividendes qui bloque ses investissements dans l équipement réseau en prévision du lancement de la 3G qui est aussi tributaire, selon le gouvernement, de l issue de la cession de 51% de cet opérateur au profit de l Etat algérien. Les responsables de la formation au sein du nouveau centre ont rappelé que Djezzy est en partenariat avec 12 universités algériennes et qu il offre des formations en MBA à l issue desquelles les étudiants seront directement recrutés.
