Pour célébrer le droit «de participer librement à la vie culturelle et artistique» des enfants, le Brass présente une exposition de photographies géantes du monde entier qui les met en scène en train de jouer dans leur quotidien. La photo belge de ce projet ambitieux a été réalisée grâce au Théâtre des tanneurs avec des élèves du quartier des Marolles. Pour cela, enfants et adolescents ont assisté à des ateliers de sensibilisation au droit à la culture, à des ateliers d initiation au jeu théâtral, etc. Dans le cadre de l exposition, des animations sur les droits de l enfant et des rencontres avec les artistes seront proposées. Om te vieren dat je vrij bent om deel te nemen aan het culturele en artistieke leven, organiseert Brass een tentoon- stelling met enorme foto's van spelende kinderen uit de hele wereld. De Belgische inzending voor dit ambitieuze project is gemaakt dankzij het Théâtre des Tanneurs met leerlingen uit de Marollen. De kinderen en tieners hebben onder andere meegedaan aan theaterworkshops en aan workshops waarin ze geleerd hebben wat het betekent om recht op cultuur te hebben. In het kader van de tentoonstelling worden animaties over de Rechten van het Kind en ontmoetingen met kunstenaars georganiseerd.
