Vérifiez la montabilité des arbres de transmission dans la boite de vitesse ou le pont. Il se peut que cellesci nécessitent une légère reprise au niveau du bourrelet de fin de cannelure, le caséchéant réalisez la reprise à l aide d une lime électrique. Check the transmission shafts assembly in the gearbox or the rear differential. It may be that it requires a slight modification at the end of groove bead, if necessary, perform the adjustment using an electric file. Appliquez de la graisse cuivre sur les cannelures côté boite de vitesse des arbres de transmission (rep. 1). Nettoyez et appliquez de la graisse cuivre sur les entraineurs de roue des arbres de transmission. Clean and apply some copper grease on the wheel coaches of the driveshafts. Graisse Cuivre Copper Grease Assemblez les transmissions dans les moyeux à l aide de la vis (rep. 3) équipée du joint (rep. 5) et du flasque (rep. 4). Serrez les transmissions. Assemble the driveshafts in the wheel hubs using the screw (rep. 3), the Oring and (rep. 5) the mounting flange (rep. 4). Il faut porter un soin particulier lors de l assemblage des flasques de fixation (rep. 4) pour les transmissions latérales afin d éviter de les déformer : Leur mise en position est réalisée par un centrage à la main dans le moyeu. Il faut ensuite approcher et serrer la vis de fixation (rep. 3) au couple (ne pas utiliser de clé à chocs). Jeu 60 N.m The drive shaft fixing flanges (rep. 4) need to be assembled with a special care in order to avoid deforming them: You have to first position it by hand in the hub. You can then approach and tighten the fixing screw (rep. 3) (do not use impact wrench). Mise en position Graisse Grease Contrôler le serrage des transmissions (60 N.m) au moins une fois tous les 100 kms de chrono / test, en service comme à l atelier, tout en évitant le surserrage. Une fois assemblées, repérez les transmissions, pour éviter les erreurs de montage : après démontage les transmissions doivent être remontées au même endroit (droite /gauche ; avant /arrière). Check the preload (60 N.m) of the driveshafts every 100kms minimum of test or special stages, during servicing times or at the workshop, while avoiding to over tighten them. Once assembled, mark the driveshafts in order to avoid re assembly mistake: the driveshafts have to be re assembled at the same place than previously used (right/left; front/rear). RODAGE DES TRANSMISSIONS Nous vous recommandons de roder les transmissions avant toute utilisation : Etape 1 Véhicule en état de rouler, sur chandelles, faites tourner les roues à un régime moteur stabilisé de 3000 tr/mn, 5 ème rapport engagé, sans tourner le volant pendant 5 minutes. Etape 2 Procédez de la même manière que lors de l étape 1, en tournant le volant à gauche d un demitour pendant 5 secondes puis à droite d un demitour pendant 5 secondes. Alternez les braquages gauche/droite pendant la durée du cycle, soit 5 minutes. Etape 3 Procédez de la même manière que lors de l étape 2 en augmentant l angle de braquage du volant jusqu à un tour. Etape 4 Terminez le rodage par un déverminage sur route d une distance de 10 km en évitant les braquages maximum. REVISION DES TRANSMISSIONS La quantité de graisse à utiliser côté BV est de 130 gr et de 160 gr côté roue. DRIVESHAFTS RUNNING IN: We recommend you to proceed to a running of your driveshafts before any usage: Step 1: Vehicle on jack stands and ready to run, make the wheel turning during 5 minutes at a stabilised engine speed of 3.000 rpm, 5 th gear engaged, without turning the steering wheel. Step 2: Proceed in the same way as step 1, steering the wheels to the left (one halfof a turn with the steering wheel only) during 5 seconds, then steer back to 0 position and ½ turn with the steering wheel on the right side during 5 seconds. Alternate the left / right steering during 5 minutes. Step 3: Proceed in the same way as step 2, increasing the steering angle to 360 (i.e. a complete turn of the steering wheel), during 5 minutes. Step 4: Finish by a burn in on road over a distance of about 10 km, avoiding using maximum steering lock.
