L ECV Aquitaine - École de Communication Visuelle est une école privée ouverte en 1991, avec pour mission de former à l excellence des spécialistes du graphisme. L ECV délivre un titre rewww.cncp.gouv.fr L ECV Aquitaine, à travers deux départements, propose deux programmes distincts : - graphisme et publicité - animation et multimédia Ces deux programmes préparent les étudiants en cinq ans aux métiers de la communication visuelle, de la création publicitaire et du multimédia. Chaque année l école reçoit des étudiants dans le cadre des échanges internationaux et offre à ses étudiants la possibilité d étudier à l étranger dans des institutions partenaires. Sur les 350 étudiants inscrits généralement chaque année, 10 à 15% d entre eux viennent de l étranger. ECV Aquitaine - École de Communication Visuelle is a private school offering courses in visual communication that meets the education high standards. Established in 1991, ECV delivers a state recognized diploma, it is registered in the CNCP directory. www.cncp.gouv.fr ECV Aquitaine, through two departments, offers two different programmes : - graphic design and art direction - animation and multimedia These two programmes prepare students in 5 years to career in graphic design, art direction and multimedia. Each year the school host foreign students from international exchanges and send students in the partners institutions. Among the 350 students that join the school every year, 10 to 15% of them come from abroad.

02 Informations sur l école School information HORAIRES ET CALENDRIER L école est ouverte du Lundi au Vendredi de 9H00 à 19H00. L année scolaire est composée de 2 semestres: Le premier semestre commence le 16 septembre 2013 et s achève le 11 janvier 2014. Le deuxième semestre commence le 21 janvier 2014 et s achève le 30 mai 2014. Les cours s arrêtent pendant l année : du 27 octobre au 4 novembre 2013 du 22 décembre 2013 au 6 janvier 2014 du 12 avril au 20 avril 2014 COURS Les cours sont répartis selon un emploi du temps hebdomadaire à plein temps. Il y a environ 30 heures de cours et autant de travail personnel. Le programme d études est par l établissement, selon l année d étude, l étudiant a la possibilité de choisir une ou plusieurs options. Début septembre, une journée d accueil donnera à l étudiant toutes les informations nécessaires sur son emploi du temps. Dans le cas d une admission au second semestre, cette présentation se fera au cours d un rendez-vous particulier. LANGUE Les cours sont dispensés en français. L anglais est utilisé entre élèves et professeurs. Des étudiants français tuteurs aideront les étudiants étrangers durant leur séjour. Les étudiants qui veulent étudier le français sont invités à s inscrire à «l Alliance Française». www.alliancefr.org E.C.T.S. Le système européen de transfert de crédits ECTS est appliqué à l ECV. 30 crédits sont alloués par semestre pour un total de 60 crédits pour une année. SALLES ET ÉQUIPEMENTS En dehors des heures de cours, lorsque les salles sont disponibles, les étudiants y ont accés librement. Une salle informatique connectée à internet est laissée à la disposition des étudiants pendant les heures d ouverture de l école. SCHEDULE AND CALENDAR The school is open from Monday to Friday, 9h-19h The academic year is divided in two semesters : The semester begins the 16th of September 2013 and ends the 11th of January 2014. The second semester begins the 21st of January and ends the 30th of May 2014. Classes stop during the year : from the 27th of October to the 4th of November 2013 from the 22nd of December 2013 to the 6th of January 2014. from the 12th to the 20th of April 2014. CLASSES Classes are set up following a weekly schedule. Every week students foliow about 30 hours of classes, the same amount of personnal work is usually necessary. The program is set up by the school, following the year students may have to choose between to different options courses. In September, a general introduction day will provide students all the information about the schedule and academic calendar. For students arriving at the second semester, a personnal appointment will be scheduled with the tutor. LANGUAGE Courses are taught in French. English is also used by teachers and students but basic knowledge of French is required to follow properly the programme. Selected students from ECV will help incoming students in their school life. Students willing to learn French may regiter at the Alliance Française : www.alliancefr.org E.C.T.S. The European credits system, ECTS, is applied at ECV. Students receive 30 credits each semester for a total of 60 credits a year. EQUIPMENT Students have access and may freely work in the class roooms when not occupied by a course. A room dedicated to computers with Internet access is available to students during the opening hours.

03 Informations échanges Erasmus Erasmus exchanges information ÉTUDIER À L ECV DATES LIMITES D ENVOI DE DOSSIERS STUDY AT ECV DEADLINES Pour effectuer un séjour à l ECV Aquitaine dans le cadre d un échange Erasmus, les étudiants doivent être inscrits dans une université ou école partenaire de l ECV. Si aucun partenariat n existe avec l ECV, l étudiant doit se renseigner auprès du service des échanges de son institution. Les étudiants candidats doivent envoyer à l adresse ci-dessous «l Application form», comprenant : le d inscription de l établissement d origine une lettre de motivation un CV un book sur format papier ou électronique une lettre de recommandation une photocopie du passeport ECV Admission Erasmus 1, rue du Dahomey 75011 Paris France 1er semestre : les dossiers doivent être envoyés avant le 30 juin 2013 2ème semestre : les dossiers doivent être envoyés avant le 30 novembre 2013. ASSURANCE L étudiant doit souscrire une assurance maladie et accident avant son arrivée en France. Les étudiants de l Union européenne doivent se procurer l imprimé E128 auprès de leur caisse d assurance maladie. Pour les pays hors Union européenne, les étudiants doiventse renseigner des compagnies d assurances de leur pays. To study at ECV Aquitaine as an exchange student, the student must be enrolled in an institution parnter with ECV. If no agreement exists with the school, student may ask for information to the of exchange in its home institution. In addition, student must send to the address below «the Application form» that includes : the proof of enrollment in her/his institution a letter of motivaion a resume a portfolio a letter of recommendation a copy of passport ECV Erasmus Department 1, rue du Dahomey 75011 Paris France 1st semester : applications must be sent before the 30th of June 2013. 2nd semester : applications must be sent before the 30th of November 2013. INSURANCE See if students must suscribe to an health and accident insurance before arriving to France. Students from the European union need to get the E128 form from their health insurance company. For students outside the European Union, ask the procedure at your home health insurance company.

05 Logement Housing Dans le cadre des échanges internationaux d étudiants, le logement ne peut pas être pris en charge par l école. Les étudiants doivent trouver par eux-mêmes un studio ou une chambre. Il faut compter en moyenne 450 euros par mois pour un logement à Nantes.
