XTU UN PATRIMOINE EN MOUVEMENT Riche de son patrimoine historique, Bordeaux a également su se parer de modernité avec de grands projets imaginés par des designers et architectes internationaux. En 2017, la Ligne à Grande Vitesse (LGV) mettra Bordeaux à 2 heures de Paris, contre 3 heures aujourd hui, contribuant ainsi, autour de la gare Saint-Jean, à l essor du nouveau quartier d affaires Euratlantique et de son complexe hôtelier. Le Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux, axe majeur de la rénovation du quartier Bordeaux- Lac, accueillera, dès juin 2015, 43 500 spectateurs. 20 minutes suffisent pour rallier ce pôle de congrès depuis la gare. La Cité des Civilisations du Vin, un site exceptionnel dédié aux vins du monde entier, modifiera en profondeur le paysage du quartier des Bassins à Flots. In 2017, a high speed train line will put Bordeaux just 2 hours from Paris, compared to 3 today. Furthermore, the entire district around the train station is being developed to welcome the Euratlantique business centre and a hotel complex. With a capacity of 43,500 spectators, the New Bordeaux Stadium is emblematic of the construction and renovations in the Bordeaux-Lac district. It will be operational as of June 2015. This area, along with its convention and exhibition centres, is just 20 minutes from the train station. The Cité des Civilisations du Vin, an outstanding site devoted to wines from around the world, has given a dynamic new impetus to the Bassins à Flots district.
