Read all instructions carefully before using the heater. 2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothing and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from front, sides and rear of the heater. 3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or individuals with disabilities and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended. 4. Always unplug the heater when not in use. 5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater manlfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to an authorised service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair. 6. Do not use outdoors. 7. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas or in wet or moist indoor locations. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water containers. 8. Do not run the electric cord under carpeting. Do not cover the cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not place the cord in a traffic area. 9. To disconnect the heater, turn controls to off. 10. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust openings. Do not use on soft surfaces, such as a bed where openings may become blocked. 11. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.

(The line voltage thermostat is not provided with the heater.) Installation Tools required: - Electric drill - Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver - Tape measure The heater has a thermal cut-off protection. If the thermal cut-off protection trips, switch off the power. The unit should reset automatically after 10 minutes. If the thermal cut-off protection trips again, determine the reason for overheating. I N S TA L L AT I O N / M A I N T E N A N C E / C L E A N I N G Wall Mounting 1) Drill the required holes in the wall using the positioning screw holes. 2) Attach the bracket to the wall with the screws. 3) Mount the heater to the bracket and engage the corresponding slots on the rear of the heater. Removing the heater from the bracket 1) Press and loosen all clips. 2) Pull the heater to disengage the clips from the bracket. Electrical Wiring Warning: The heater must be installed by a certified electrician and in accordance with the local and national building codes. Maintenance Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, always switch off the unit and wait 10 minutes to allow it to cool before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. It is recommended that the heater is cleaned periodically, in order to avoid dust blocking the grill or ventilation. Cleaning Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids on the unit surfaces. Note: It is possible that the unit surface may discolour (yellow) over time, due to dust or cigarette smoke. This is normal and not a manufacturing defect. Warning: In Quebec, the installation of this product must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Warning: This convection heater is to be used on a 240/208 (CD1) V AC power supply and grounded outlets. 4
W a r r a n t y Warranty Every convection heater is tested before it leaves the factory and it is guaranteed for one year. If the unit should fail to operate correctly within one year from the date of purchase, call customer service at 1-800-459-4409 EST. We will, at our discretion either repair or replace the unit. It will have to be returned to us freight prepaid and we will return the repaired or replaced unit to you freight prepaid. The company s sole obligation is to repair or replace the unit. This warranty is void if in the opinion of Quality Craft the unit has been tampered with, altered, misused, damaged, abused or used with the wrong power source. The warranty is for homeowner use only and does not cover units used in commercial situations. Enlèvement du convecteur 1) Appuyez sur les pinces et desserrez-les. 2) Enlevez le convecteur pour dégager les pinces du crochet. N installez pas le convecteur à moins de 6 pouces (15,2 cm) d une surface verticale ou horizontale. Il est important de conserver cette distance. Circuit de protection thermique Câblage Avertissement : au Québec, la pose de cet appareil doit être effectuée par un électricien qualifié et selon les codes local et national du bâtiment. E N T R E T I E N / G A R A N T I E Entretien Avertissement : avant d entreprendre l entretien ou le nettoyage, placez toujours l interrupteur à la position ARRÊT (OFF) et attendez 10 minutes pour permettre à l appareili de refroidir, afin de réduire les risques d incendie ou de choc électrique. Il est recommandé de nettoyer l appareil hebdomadairement pour éviter que la poussière bloque la grille ou les évents. Nettoyage Passez un linge humide doux sur l appareil. N utilisez pas de nettoyants abrasifs et ne pulvérisez pas de liquides sur l appareil. Nota : il est possible que la surface de l appareil se décolore (jaunissement) après un certain temps en raison de la poussière ou de la fumée de cigarette.
