INFORMATIONS ET RECOMMANDATIONS p.4/10 Informations et recommandations o Conformément à la directive européenne UTE C00-200 décrivant les directives 89/336CEE et 92/31 CEE, ENCOD-USB-AI est conforme aux normes : NF EN 50081-1 pour les émissions électromagnétiques et NF EN 50082-1 pour la susceptibilité électromagnétique. o Recommandations de câblage : les câbles utilisés pour le raccordement des lecteurs, réseau et autres périphériques doivent être installés conformément aux indications décrivant le Niveau 2 (environnement protégé) de la norme NF EN 61000-4-4. o Ce produit doit être installé par une entreprise qualifiée. Une installation et une utilisation incorrectes peuvent entraîner des risques de chocs électriques ou d incendie. Avant d effectuer l installation, lire la notice technique et respecter les préconisations de montage du produit. o Après avoir éteint l alimentation, tous les condensateurs internes se déchargeront à un niveau sain après 60 secondes dans des conditions normales. Néanmoins, dans le cas d une défaillance, les charges peuvent être maintenues beaucoup plus longtemps et des précautions adéquates doivent être prises avant de manipuler le produit. CARACTERISTIQUES TECHNIQUES p.6/10 1) Raccordement sur un PC Station de travail Port USB 1.1 / 2.0 Raccordez votre ENCOD-USB-AI sur un port USB disponible de votre ordinateur en utilisant le câble fourni. Aucun pilote ne sera nécessaire à l installation. 2) Paramétrage de l ENCOD-USB-AI sous ACCESS IT LOG Pour mettre en service l ENCOD-USB-AI dans ACCESS IT LOG, cliquez sur l onglet «Technique», «configuration du site» et procédez comme suit : Cliquez sur «Configuration du site» puis «Ajouter un encodeur» Sélectionnez «USB» puis «EncodUSB (Boitier Blanc)» Vous pouvez contrôler l état de votre encodeur en bas de la fenêtre principale de ACCESS IT LOG : : Problème de connexion, vérifiez que votre ENCOD-USB-AI est bien connecté sur votre PC. : Connexion établie 3) Affichage de la fiche utilisateur sur présentation du badge Vous pouvez configurer ACCESS IT LOG afin que la fiche utilisateur s ouvre automatiquement lorsque vous posez un badge sur l encodeur. Pour cela, allez dans le menu «Extensions», «Préférences», puis cocher la case.

INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS p.8/10 Information and recommendations o Pursuant to European directive UTE C00-200, incorporating directives 89/336 EEC and 92/31 EEC, ENCOD-USB-AI complies with the following standards: NF EN 50081-1 governing electromagnetic radiation, and NF EN 50082-1 governing electromagnetic susceptibility. o Cabling recommendations: the cables used to connect readers, the network and other peripherals must be installed in accordance with the instructions for Level 2 (protected environment) of standard NF EN 61000-4-4. o This product must be installed by an approved company. Incorrect installation and use may result in electric shock or fire. Before installation, read the technical information and comply with the recommendations for installing the product. o Once the power is turned off, all the internal capacitors will discharge themselves to a safe level after 60 seconds under normal conditions. However, in the event of a power failure, the charge may be maintained for much longer and suitable precautions should be taken before handling the product. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS p.10/10 1) Connecting to a PC Workstation USB Port 1.1 / 2.0 Connect the ENCOD-USB-AI to an available USB port on your computer using the cable provided. No additional drivers are required for installation. 2) Configuring the ENCOD-USB-AI under ACCESS IT LOG To activate the ENCOD-USB-AI interface in ACCESS IT LOG, click on the "Technical" tab, then select the "Site configuration" option, and proceed as follows: Click on "Site configuration" then on "Add an encoder" Select "USB" then "EncodUSB (White box)" You can verify the status of your encoder at the bottom of the main ACCESS IT LOG window: : Connection problem, verify that the ENCOD-USB-AI is correctly connected to your PC. : Connection established 3) Displaying user file on presentation of badge You can configure ACCESS IT LOG to automatically open the relevant user file when you place a badge on the encoder. To do this, go to the "Extensions" menu, select the "Preferences" option, then check the box (Always display user file of badge on encoder).
