La source de lumière pourra être : soit naturelle (lumière du jour en évitant d'utiliser directement les rayons du soleil), soit artificielle (par exemple une lampe de dissection et de microscopie) Pour des travaux plus importants, nous vous conseillons l'utilisation de la lampe enfichable (réf. 571 169) à la place du miroir. 2 Observation en lumière naturelle (miroir ou lampe) La préparation, placée sur la platine, est maintenue par deux valets. Commencer l'observation avec un objectif de faible grossissement (4 x ou 10 x). Diriger le faisceau lumineux sur la préparation en réglant l'orientation du miroir. Doser l'intensité de lumière en réglant l'ouverture du diaphragme de manière à obtenir le meilleur contraste. Faire la mise au point rapide puis manœuvrer la vis micrométrique. Pour passer au grossissement supérieur, tourner simplement la tourelle pour amener l'objectif désiré au dessus de la préparation. Faire la mise au point en agissant uniquement sur la vis micrométrique. FRANÇAIS 2
Optique Microscope collège N.B. les objectifs 4x et 10x peuvent être employés pour l'examen d'une préparation sans lamelle couvre objet. Ces objectifs permettent aussi l'observation en lumière réfléchie. 2.1 Maintenance Le microscope doit être conservé à l'abri de la poussière et des chocs éventuels. Quand il n'est pas en service, le ranger dans sa boîte ou le couvrir d'une housse. Pièces mécaniques extérieures Utiliser de l éthanol sur un coton, un chiffon doux ou du papier absorbant (mouchoir papier). Frotter légèrement sans insister pour éviter d attaquer et de dissoudre la peinture. Important : Ne pas utiliser de solvants agressifs tels que acétone ou trichloréthylène qui risquent d attaquer la peinture. Crémaillère Ne pas nettoyer la crémaillère à moins qu elle ne soit très fortement encrassée, utiliser alors de l éthanol ou envoyer l ensemble au fournisseur. Graisser très finement avec une graisse fluide sur les dents de la crémaillère et la queue d aronde (surtout pas d huile), de préférence avec la graisse pour crémaillère Réf. 107 065. Optique Pour protéger de la poussière le prisme du tube optique, laisser en permanence l'oculaire. Ne jamais essayer d ouvrir les oculaires ou les objectifs. Les poussières qui peuvent se trouver sur les parties optiques doivent être soufflées ou retirées à l aide d un dépoussiéreur (Réf. 574 198). Pour nettoyer les traces de doigts, utiliser un chiffon doux non pelucheux ou un papier de nettoyage (Réf. 803 092). Ne jamais utiliser d alcool mais un nettoyant spécifique pour l optique (Réf. 102 146) et du papier de nettoyage. 2.2 Transport Pendant le transport, emballer soigneusement le microscope et ses accessoires. 3 Service après vente La garantie est de 2 ans, le matériel doit être retourné dans nos ateliers. The light source can be: either natural (daylight, avoid the direct use of solar radiation), or artificial (e.g. dissection and microscopy lamp P/N 566 010) For more important work we suggest the use of the pluggable lamp P/N 574 169 instead of the mirror. 2 Observation under natural light (mirror or lamp) The preparation slide is held on the table by means of two clamps. Start the observation with a low magnification objective (4x or 10x). Direct the light beam on the preparation by adjusting the orientation of the mirror. Dose the light intensity by adjusting the diaphragm aperture in order to obtain the best possible contrast. Perform coarse focusing then use the micrometer screw. To use the higher magnification, just rotate the objective changer to bring the desired objective above the slide. Focus by using only the micrometer screw. ENGLISH 5
Optics School microscope Note: the 4x and 10x objectives can be used to examine a preparation without a cover slip. These objectives also allow observations under reflected light. 2.1 Maintenance The microscope should be kept away from dust and protected against possible impacts. When it is not in use, store it in its packaging box or use a cover. Always leave the eyepiece in place in order to protect the optical tube prism against dust. In case of dust penetration, the objective must be returned to the factory for cleaning. External mechanical components Use ethanol on a soft cotton cloth or absorbing paper (Kleenex). Gently scrub to avoid attacking or dissolving the paint. Important: Do not use aggressive solvents such as acetone or trichloroethylene which could attack the paint. Toothed bar Do not clean the toothed bar unless it is highly clogged, if so use ethanol or return the device to the supplier. Very finely grease the teeth of the toothed bar and the dovetail (do not use oil), preferably with grease specifically for toothed bars Ref. 107 065. Optics Never try to open the eyepieces and objectives. Dust that can be on the optical parts must be blown or removed by means of a dust collector (Ref. 574 198). In order to clean finger marks, use a soft lint-free cloth or a cleaning paper (Ref. 803 092). Never use alcohol but use a specific cleanser for optics (Ref. 102 146). 2.2 Transport During transport, ensure that the microscope and its accessories are properly packed. 3 After-Sales Service This material is under a two year warranty and should be returned to our stores in the event of any defects.
