Instant Messaging & Personal Email The Clerk circulated a paper published by the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario entitled Instant Messaging and Personal Email Accounts: Meeting your Access and Privacy Obligations. The paper emphasized that emails sent by Council members and employees of a municipality relating to municipal business, that are created, sent or received through instant messenger or via a personal email account are corporate records and as such subject to Access and Privacy legislation. L Orignal Community Centre Following a short discussion, it was Seconded by: Marc Séguin BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and the Chief Administrative Officer be authorized to engage a firm of architects for the preparation of a preliminary design for the future L Orignal Community Centre. Purchase of pumper-tanker for the L Orignal Fire Department There was a brief discussion on this matter. The Mayor informed Council that the Township is looking at the specifications required for the new vehicle in order to move it ahead. More information will be available at the September meeting.
