1 RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ROUEN BUSINESS SCHOOL Attendance -Attendance at classes is obligatory. -Professors are free to accept or not accept students arriving late for their class. -Students who know in advance they will not be able to attend a class should advise the International Office by phone or or by filling in an Absence form. If this is not feasible, the Absence form should be filled in when the student is back. The International Office will then decide whether the reason for the absence can be accepted or not. If not, and if there is a test during the class the student has missed, he/she will receive a zero for that test. Attendance may be taken into account in the marking system for some courses. Assessment -Marks are on a scale of 0 to 20. Each lecturer decides what is taken into account for the continuous assessment : this can be written and/or oral tests, presentations (individual or in teams), participation, attendance -Late papers may be refused and result in a mark of zero at the discretion of the professor. Final exams -The academic calendar indicates the semester dates including the final exam session. Students MUST plan to be present until the official end of the semester. There will not be any special arrangements in the event a student has booked his/her return trip before the end of the exam session. -The definitive and detailed schedule for exams is announced during the semester and cannot be changed. - If a student is absent for an exam, he/she will get a zero unless a medical certificate is provided. Fraud -Cheating on a test or final exam will be treated as unacceptable and reported to the home university and to the Director of International Relations for non exchange students. -Cheating will result in the convocation of the discipline committee to decide sanctions against the student. 2 Results -A transcript of results will be issued listing all the courses for which the student has been registered. It is not possible to drop or add a course after the add/drop period. -For exchange students, a copy will be also sent to the home university. Behaviour on the campus The students must : -Be respectful towards the staff (administrative, teachers, technical & cleaning staff) and the other students at all times. -Be dressed appropriately. -Behave in a proper manner at all times. -Respect all the laws of France. -Be aware that lifts are reserved for staff, visitors & handicapped students. The students must not : -Smoke, eat and drink inside the buildings. -Drink alcohol or use illicit substance in the schools or on the campus. Any non compliance with the above mentioned rules will lead to sanctions. The student responsible for damages will be required to pay for the repairs. Parking -The students must park in the car parks reserved to students : In front of the ESC gate. In the 2 nd & 3 rd basements of the underground car park. -The student uses these car parks at his/her own risks : The Rouen Business School declines any liability in case of damage, theft or accident. -It is forbidden to park outside these reserved places either on campus (in places reserved for the staff & visitors) or off-campus (on the car parks of the flat blocks around). Behaviour outside the campus -International students are also responsible for the image they give of Rouen Business School outside the campus (accommodations, parties, seminars, visits.) -There will be sanctions in the event a student s behaviour negatively affects the image of Rouen Business School. Behaviour in accommodations -Students must respect the specific rules & regulations of the place where they live. -Should a student be excluded from his/her accommodation for misconduct (disciplinary, non payment or security problem), no rehousing will be provided by Rouen Business School. -Rouen Business School will not contest a decision of exclusion. 3 Security -In the event the fire alarm goes off, students must evacuate the building calmly and under the control of the staff. -Students should meet at the place indicated on the security instructions (on the walls of each building). -In case of any problem of any kind, students should contact a member of the staff. Sanctions -Exchange students: All contraventions of Rouen Business School Rules and Regulations will be reported to the home university. -Access to library and/or to computers can be suspended in the event of administrative problems (no payment of fees, book(s) not given back to the library..) -Temporary or definitive exclusions are decided by the Director of International Relations or the discipline committee. In case of definitive exclusion from the school, the student shall loose his/her accommodation if provided by Rouen Business School. BI/AJ 17/06/ :13 3 / 8

5 REGLEMENT INTERIEUR POUR ETUDIANTS INTERNATIONAUX ROUEN BUSINESS SCHOOL Présence -Le présence en classe est obligatoire. -Les professeurs sont libres d accepter ou non des étudiants en retard à leur cours. -Les étudiants sachant à l avance qu ils seront absents doivent prévenir le Bureau International par téléphone, ou en remplissant un formulaire d absence. Si cela n est pas possible, le formulaire d absence devra être rempli au retour de l étudiant(e). Le Bureau International décidera alors si le motif de l absence peut être accepté ou non. Si non, et qu il y ait eu un contrôle pendant le cours manqué, l étudiant(e) recevra un zéro pour ce contrôle. L assiduité peut être prise en compte dans le système de notation de certains cours. Evaluation -Les notes vont de 0 à 20. Chaque enseignant décide de ce qui sera pris en compte dans le contrôle continu : cela peut être des tests écrits et/ou oraux, des présentations (individuelles ou en groupe), participation, assiduité.. -Le professeur peut refuser les devoirs remis en retard, ce qui signifie une note de zéro Examens finaux -Le calendrier académique indique les dates de semestre incluant la session d examens. Les étudiants DOIVENT prévoir d être présents jusqu à la fin officielle du semestre. Si un(e) étudiant(e) a réservé son billet de retour avant la fin de la session d examens, il n y aura pas d arrangement spécial. -Le planning détaillé et définitif des examens est annoncé pendant le semestre et ne peut être modifié. -En cas d absence à un examen, l étudiant(e) aura un zéro sauf s il/elle fournit un certificat médical. Fraude -Tricher à un test ou à un examen final est considéré comme inacceptable et sera signalé à l université d origine et au Directeur des Relations Internationales pour les étudiants hors échanges. -En cas de tricherie, le conseil de discipline sera convoqué et décidera des sanctions à prendre contre l étudiant(e). 6 Résultats -Toutes les matières pour lesquelles l étudiant(e) est inscrit(e) figureront sur le bulletin de notes. Il n est pas possible d ajouter ou de retirer une matière après la période «add/drop». -Un exemplaire sera également envoyé à l université d origine pour les étudiants en échange. Comportement sur le campus Les étudiants doivent : -Etre respectueux à tout moment envers le personnel (administratif, professeurs, technique & personnel de service) et envers les autres étudiants. -Avoir une tenue vestimentaire correcte. -Se comporter correctement à tout moment. -Respecter toutes les lois Françaises. -Etre conscients que les ascenseurs sont réservés au personnel, visiteurs et étudiants handicapés. Les étudiants ne doivent pas : -Fumer, boire ou manger à l intérieur des bâtiments. -Boire de l alcool ou utiliser des substances illicites dans les écoles ou sur le campus. Tout manquement aux règles ci-dessus entraînera des sanctions. L étudiant(e) responsable de dégâts devra payer pour les réparations. Parking -Les étudiants doivent se garer dans les parkings qui leur sont réservés : Devant la barrière à l ESC. Dans les 2 ème et 3 ème sous-sols du parking souterrain. -Les étudiants utilisent les parkings à leurs risques et périls : La Rouen Business School décline toute responsabilité en cas de dégât, vol ou accident. -Il est interdit de se garer en dehors de ces places réservées que ce soit sur le campus (sur les places pour le personnel et les visiteurs) ou en dehors du campus (sur les parkings des immeubles alentour). Comportement en dehors du campus -Les étudiants internationaux sont aussi responsables de l image qu ils donnent de la Rouen Business School en dehors du campus (logements, fêtes, séminaires, visites.). -L étudiant(e) qui affectera négativement l image de la Rouen Business School sera sanctionné(e). Comportement dans les logements -Les étudiants doivent respecter le règlement spécifique de l endroit où ils vivent. -La Rouen Business School ne procèdera pas au relogement si un(e) étudiant(e) est exclu(e) de son logement pour comportement incorrect (problème disciplinaire, de paiement ou de sécurité). -La Rouen Business School ne contestera pas une décision d exclusion. 7 Sécurité -En cas de déclenchement de l alarme incendie, les étudiants doivent évacuer le bâtiment calmement et sous le contrôle du personnel. -Le étudiants devront se retrouver à l endroit indiqué sur les instructions de sécurité (sur les murs de chaque bâtiment). -Les étudiants doivent prévenir un membre du personnel en cas de problème de quelque sorte que ce soit. Sanctions -Etudiants en échange : Toute infraction au règlement intérieur de la Rouen Business School sera rapportée à l université d origine. -Accès à la bibliothèque et /ou au réseau informatique suspendus en cas de problèmes administratifs (non-paiement de droits, livres non rendus à la bibliothèque.) -Exclusions temporaires ou définitives décidées par le Directeur des Relations Internationales ou le conseil de discipline. En cas d exclusion définitive de l école, l étudiant(e) pourrait perdre son logement s il lui a été fourni par la Rouen Business School. BI/AJ 17/06/ :13 7 / 8
