1 1 - Missions RAPPORT ANNUEL G2I 2005 Comme les 5 autres centres de l Ecole, le Centre G2I a deux missions essentielles : la formation et la recherche. Du coté formation, le centre pilote les enseignements du cycle ICM dans les domaines de l Informatique et du Génie industriel, deux mastères spécialisés en Informatique (MSGL, IPISO) et un Master (Web Intelligence). Il intervient également de façon importante dans la formation (continue ou par apprentissage) en techniques de production (en collaboration avec l ISTP). Il forme aussi un nombre important de doctorants. Les recherches menées en informatique et en génie industriel au centre G2I s intéressent principalement à l Ingénierie de la conception et de la production et au Supply Chain management. Cette recherche est structurée en quatre départements, deux en informatique et deux en Génie Industriel et est conduite au travers de réseaux de partenaires industriels et institutionnels, tant régionaux que nationaux et internationaux, dans le cadre d activités contractuelles ou académiques. 2 2005 : Les faits marquants 1 Zoom sur une activité d enseignement : Les Mastères & Masters en Informatique Mastère Spécialisé en Ingénierie Production et Infrastructure en Systèmes Ouverts (IPISO) Cohabilitation avec les Ecoles des Mines de Paris et Nancy Partenariat France Telecom Ce Mastère permet de former des ingénieurs jouant un rôle central, aux carrefours de tous les acteurs d un système d informations. Les compétences techniques s articulent autour de la compréhension et de la maîtrise : - de l architecture logicielle et matérielle ; - des solutions d infrastructures techniques du marché ; - des outils et exigences inhérents à l exploitation informatique ; - de la sécurité. 9 élèves en 2005 Le Cycle de Formation Spécialisé en Informatique, option Génie Logiciel et Réseaux La plus ancienne, cette formation est résolument ciblée "ingénierie, réseaux, multimédia et bases de données". Ouverte aux ingénieurs en activité et aux diplômés Bac+5, elle permet d obtenir en un an un diplôme d ingénieur de spécialité ou un certificat reconnu par la profession. Elle est labellisée en tant que Mastère spécialisé par la Conférence des Grandes Ecoles. 8 élèves en 2005 Master Informatique, Spécialité Web Intelligence (cohabilitation avec l Université Jean Monnet) Sous le thème fédérateur de Web Intelligence, ce master est à la croisée des problématiques de l Internet et du Web avec celles de l Intelligence Artificielle. Il s'intéresse aux thèmes scientifiques liés à la sécurité, à la fouille des données, aux moteurs de recherche et aux questions d'indexation associées, à la modélisation et à la compréhension de l'utilisateur, à l'accès, à la composition dynamique et adaptée de services mis à disposition sur le Web. 24 élèves en Zoom relations en partenariats - Montage de projets dans le cadre des «clusters recherche» de la RRA : le Centre G2I participe à 6 des projets régionaux montés dans ce cadre et est coordonateur pour le projet «Web Intelligence» du Cluster ISLE et pour le projet «Conception et gestion des systèmes de production reconfigurable» du cluster GOSPI. - Co-organisation de 3 conférences ou Workshops : FOOOP, OSWIR et CORIA en 2005 et préparation de INCOM2006 (600 communications de 55 pays, un colloque scientifique international et 3 colloques industriels). - Excellents résultats lors des campagnes internationales d évaluation dans le domaine de la recherche d information TREC, INEX et CLEF (1 er pour la catégorie «interrogation en langue naturelle»). - Collaboration avec la société FT/R&D dans le cadre d un stage de Master Recherche puis par le début, en septembre 2005, d une thèse en co-encadrement. Cette collaboration vient renforcer les collaborations existantes avec le CHU, les sociétés ECAI et ST-Microélectronique. 3 Zoom relations internationales - Canada : Alexandre Dolgui a été nommé Expert à la Fondation Canadienne pour l innovation et a été professeur invité à la Queen s School of Business à Kingston pendant l été Lancement du projet Européen LEAD (projet STREP-FP6) qui s intéresse à l étude des interactions médiatisées en présentiel.. Le département RIM apportera à ce projet son expertise en outils collaboratifs et en management des traces d interactions. Ce projet regroupe des partenaires venant de France, des Pays-Bas, de Grande Bretagne et d Italie et donne une ouverture internationale aux recherches menées en parallèle dans le cadre d actions régionales (projet thématique COSMOCE, projet EIAH du cluster ISLE, projet ASPIC du cluster GOSPI). - Elaboration d une plateforme «Agent Reputation Testbed» en collaboration avec des partenaires des USA, d Espagne, des Pays-Bas et d Israel.
