(DAAD) Kennedyallee 50 D-53175 Bonn Contact DAAD Information Centre Yaoundé Editor Frank Kahnert Dear readers, This first edition of our newsletter in 2014 will give you an overview of our current activities in Cameroon. In fact, the Information Centre in Yaoundé held a couple of information sessions for student candidates in Yaoundé and Douala in the past two months. Those events were organised as part of the forum Study in Germany. In the field of academic exchange, German lecturers have been invited to teach at Cameroonian universities, mainly in Yaoundé and Ngaoundéré while some Cameroonian lecturers got DAAD fellowships to deepen research activities with their colleagues at German universities. In this connection we would like to thank Ms. Dovbischuk for her article in this newsletter. New offers are available in the field of high school management. The DIES unit of the DAAD plans with German universities a series of courses in different aspects of high school administration. In this newsletter, you will find offers in the fields of quality insurance and management of internationalisation among other themes. Bonne lecture! Brice Chuepo
