1 Visite de l'exposition Greenbuild à Boston, novembre 2008 L'exposition Greenbuild 2008 aura lieu à Boston du 19 au 21 novembre. Cette exposition présente aux exposants et aux visiteurs, les nouvelles tendances dans le secteur de la construction verte. L accent est mis sur les produits, processus et systèmes écologiques. Plus de visiteurs sont attendus à ce rendez-vous incontournable du "bâtiment vert" qui regroupe divers intervenants de l industrie de la construction : architectes, distributeurs, entrepreneurs, fabricants et ingénieurs. Le MDEIE recommande cette exposition aux compagnies québécoises qui ciblent le secteur de la construction avec des produits qui peuvent contribuer à la certification LEED pour les édifices. Les informations suivantes vous permettront de mieux planifier votre visite à Greenbuild Déjeuner conférence et réseautage, 19 novembre 2008 Le MDEIE et la Délégation du Québec à Boston organisent un déjeuner conférence en présence d'experts invités le mercredi 19 novembre 2008 à 7h30 au Marriott Copley Square, à la salle Provincetown. Les experts seront disponibles pour des rencontres individuelles après le déjeuner conférence. Cet événement étant en préparation, les entreprises sont invitées à communiquer leurs champs d'intérêt en vue du recrutement des conférenciers. L'inscription à cette activité est gratuite. Exposition et Pavillon du Canada L'exposition affiche complet pour les exposants individuels mais quelques espaces sont encore disponibles au sein du Pavillon du Canada, coordonné par la SCHL et le gouvernement fédéral. Les entreprises intéressées à y occuper un kiosque doivent signifier leur intérêt à la SCHL avant le 22 août en utilisant le formulaire ci-joint. Compte tenu que l'espace est limité, un comité de sélection révisera les profils des entreprises intéressées. Les entreprises retenues seront informées au début de septembre. Veuillez noter que les formulaires sont en anglais parce que certains membres du comité de sélection ne parlent pas français. Le formulaire peut être obtenu en français sur demande auprès de la SCHL. Kiosque du Québec au sein du Pavillon du Canada Le MDEIE occupera un kiosque qui mettra en valeur les forces du Québec dans le "bâtiment vert". Le MDEIE offre aux entreprises présentes à Greenbuild d'inclure gratuitement leur profil dans un répertoire qui sera disponible au kiosque. Hébergement Un bloc de chambres a été réservé exclusivement pour les exposants et visiteurs québécois à Greenbuild 2008, à l'hôtel Copley Square Hotel, pour les nuitées du 18, 19, 20, 21 novembre Il y a également quelques disponibilités pour les nuitées des 15,16 et 17 novembre. Tarif : 179 $/nuitée, sujet aux taxes locales et nationales. Les réservations doivent être faites individuellement par internet. Pour obtenir le code du bloc réservé et le lien Web pour la réservation, communiquer avec Véronique Mailloux. Date limite pour réserver: 26 octobre Après cette date, le tarif sera plus élevé. Inscription à l'exposition et aux conférences Les participants québécois doivent s'inscrire individuellement sur le site Web de Greenbuild. Deux types d'accès sont offerts pour participer à Greenbuild. 1. Laissez-passer pour l'exposition, conférences, repas, ateliers, et plus : 800 $ avant le 8 septembre. 2. Laissez-passer pour l'exposition seulement: 75 $/jour. Certains rabais sont offerts, notamment pour les membres du USGBC et les jeunes professionnels. 3 Boston, November Canada Pavilion and Business Networking Reception Canadian participation at this event is organized by the Canadian Consulate General in Boston in collaboration with other Canadian Government Agencies and Provincial Partners. November 18 The Canadian Consulate General together with its Canadian Greenbuild 2008 cosponsors will be hosting a Business Networking Reception from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Liberty Hotel, Two Fifteen Charles Street. November Approximately twenty companies will have the opportunity to showcase their products and/or services in a 1,200 sq. ft. Canada Pavilion, two islands, each open on four sides (Booths #810 & #1010, click here to locate booths). The Pavilion will be professionally designed and branded and is located in a prime location adjacent to the main entrance to ensure excellent traffic flow.
