Code Projet: Année: 2012 Type de Projet: Statut: Pays: Accroche marketing: Résumé: UK/12/LLP-LdV/TOI-558 Projets de transfert d'innovation Accordé UK-Royaume-Uni Les taux d'infection à Chlamydia sont élevés chez les jeunes en Europe. CATTE a pour objectif d'augmenter la prescription de tests de dépistage par les médecins généralistes au Royaume Uni, en Estonie, en France et en Suède en fournissant à des médecins formateurs un programme de formation et des supports à proposer aux médecins généralistes au cabinet. Cette démarche est basée sur une intervention pédagogique réalisée dans le cadre d'un essai contrôlé randomisé. L'infection à chlamydia est souvent asymptomatique et peut entraîner des séquelles douloureuses et coûteuses telles qu'une infertilité. Il est donc important de tester les jeunes à risque. Ce projet a pour objectifs principaux de d'élaborer un programme de formation pérenne en vue d'une prestation de services de base de santé sexuelle (en particulier le dépistage de l'infection à chlamydia) par les médecins généralistes, à l'intention des jeunes adultes, et d'améliorer le taux de détection des infections sexuellement transmissibles. Un pack éducatif pour les formateurs permettra à ces derniers de transmettre le projet CATTE (ChlamydiA Testing Training in Europe) aux médecins généralistes. CATTE vise à développer les connaissances et les compétences dont le médecin généraliste peut avoir besoin pour dépister l'infection à Chlamydia et proposer d'autres services de santé sexuelle sur une base régulière aux jeunes adultes. : Le projet CATTE est basé sur une intervention éducative développée par l'agence de protection de la santé au Royaume-Uni qui a eu pour effet d'augmenter considérablement le nombre de tests de dépistage de chlamydia prescrits par les médecins généralistes. Nous allons étudier cette intervention dans le contexte de chaque pays en procédant à une évaluation préalable des besoins, en recensant les directives existantes, le mode de collecte des données et la formation des acteurs en médecine générale. Nous allons également explorer les attitudes et les opinions des soignants et des patients (en Angleterre) concernant l'offre de services de base de santé sexuelle et la future formation CATTE, en procédant à des entretiens individuels. L'intervention sera ensuite affinée pour s'assurer qu'elle répond aux besoins de chaque pays, et pourrait inclure d'autres services de santé sexuelle: contraception, VIH et gonorrhée. Les formateurs seront recrutés et suivront la formation TtT (Train the Trainers: formation de formateurs) avant de présenter CATTE aux médecins généralistes. La réussite du projet sera évaluée en comparant les taux de tests de dépistage de chlamydia par les médecins généralistes formés au projet CATTE, avant et après leur formation. Nous allons en outre évaluer l'impact du programme de formation de formateurs et de CATTE en interrogeant les médecins formateurs et les médecins généralistes formés. Les parties prenantes de la formation des généralistes dans chaque pays participant seront impliquées pendant la durée du projet afin d'optimiser l'exploitation des résultats, avec le double objectif d'obtenir une accréditation pour la formation des formateurs et pour le programme CATTE dans chaque pays et leur adoption une fois le projet complété. The project is led by Health England s Primary Care Unit in conjunction with partners from Estonia, France and Sweden. The films are not intended to be a definitive version of how to make a 3Cs offer, as it will depend upon local arrangements for testing in surgeries and the conversation GPs had already had with the patient. A table can be found in the WP10 report (R3) showing a breakdown of the resources by country (Table 3 CATTE model developed for each country to support sustained sexual health service offers by GP staff to patients P.5). The stakeholder and trainer guide: a) gives information about the European context so that potential users understand where this fits into chlamydia control across Europe and how the resources were developed b) describes the CATTE collaboration so that potential users know how it has been developed and evaluated c) describes the theoretical background to the educational materials and how the Theory of Planned Behaviour has been used to create the resources. This informs future users how each component of the resources contributes to behavioural change d) describes how stakeholders can plan the delivery of the CATTE intervention and how to deliver the workshops including the most important components e) describes how stakeholders and users can use self-assessment checklists and audits to monitor progress in chlamydia testing. The next course is planned for September In France, the Department of teaching and research of General Practice DERMG at Nice Sophia Antipolis University has accredited the resources and their logo is used on all the French materials. 33 Événements NCM Meeting (National Coordinators and Enthusiasts' Meeting) of the European Medical Students Association (EMSA) Date NCM Meeting (National Coordinators and Enthusiasts' Meeting) is an event being held by the European Medical Students Association, an NGO representing medical students from the whole Europe. It is meant for all medical students, young doctors and those currently attending diverse health science courses.
