4 INFORMATIONS ET RECOMMANDATIONS p.4/20 Informations et recommandations o Conformément à la directive européenne UTE C décrivant les directives 89/336CEE et 92/31 CEE, INT-NPP-AI est conforme aux normes : NF EN pour les émissions électromagnétiques et NF EN pour la susceptibilité électromagnétique. o Recommandations de câblage : les câbles utilisés pour le raccordement des lecteurs, réseau et autres périphériques doivent être installés conformément aux indications décrivant le Niveau 2 (environnement protégé) de la norme NF EN o Ce produit doit être installé par une entreprise qualifiée. Une installation et une utilisation incorrectes peuvent entraîner des risques de chocs électriques ou d incendie. Avant d effectuer l installation, lire la notice technique et respecter les préconisations de montage du produit. o Après avoir éteint l alimentation, tous les condensateurs internes se déchargeront à un niveau sain après 60 secondes dans des conditions normales. Néanmoins, dans le cas d une défaillance, les charges peuvent être maintenues beaucoup plus longtemps et des précautions adéquates doivent être prises avant de manipuler le produit. Fiche technique : A B SYT conseillé 1200m Max Ø 0,6 mm 2 paires conseillées A B Veillez à utiliser une même paire pour A et B Veiller à séparer l alimentation du bus RS485 Caractéristique : Liaison sensible Ecran : Recommandé Pour atteindre 1200m, vous devez installer de chaque extrémité du réseau une résistance de 220 entre les points A et B (cf. ci-dessus). Attention : La longueur totale ne doit pas dépasser la distance préconisée.

7 PARAMETRAGE AVEC ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 OU SUPERIEURE p.7/20 Paramétrage avec ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 ou supérieure Pré-requis : la suite de cette documentation sous entend que vous avez déjà déclaré votre centrale sous ACCESS-IT LOG, que celle-ci est bien connectée. Si ce n est pas le cas, référez vous au guide de démarrage de ACCESS-IT LOG. 1. Paramétrage du type de lecteur Dans le menu Technique, Configuration du site, cliquez sur le lecteur de la centrale qui sera paramétré en INT-NPP-AI puis cliquez sur Configurer le type de lecteur. Sélectionnez alors le type INT-NPP-AI dans la liste.

Paramétrage de l interface Saisissez l identifiant de votre interface INT-NPP-AI (vous trouverez cet identifiant sur le dessus du boitier de l interface INT-NPP-AI). Saisissez l adresse IP de l interface INT-NPP-AI Saisissez l adresse IP du lecteur NPP Attention : L adresse IP de l interface NPP doit être sur le même masque de sous réseau que l adresse IP du lecteur NPP. Dans le cas contraire, la communication entre le lecteur et l interface ne s établira pas. L adresse IP de l interface NPP doit être différente de celle du lecteur NPP. L adresse IP du lecteur NPP est inscrite sur le lecteur : Pour modifier cette adresse IP, référez vous à la documentation SURVISION.

Modes de fonctionnement Deux modes de fonctionnement sont disponibles : a- Utilisation de la plaque d immatriculation comme seul moyen de reconnaissance b- Utilisation de la plaque d immatriculation et d un badge (ou code) comme moyen de reconnaissance a- Utilisation de la plaque d immatriculation comme seul moyen de reconnaissance Aucun paramétrage supplémentaire n est nécessaire pour ce mode de fonctionnement. Afin d attribuer une plaque d immatriculation à un utilisateur, allez dans le menu Contrôle d accès, cliquez sur Badges, puis sélectionnez un badge. Cochez la case «Immatriculation» puis saisissez un numéro. Ce numéro est composé de 16 caractères maximum (chiffres et/ou lettres)

10 PARAMETRAGE AVEC ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 OU SUPERIEURE p.10/20 b- Utilisation de la plaque d immatriculation et d un badge (ou code) comme moyen de reconnaissance Ce mode de fonctionnement vous permet d associer une plaque d immatriculation à un badge. Lorsqu une plaque d immatriculation sera lue, la centrale passera en attente du badge associé à cette plaque pendant un temps paramétrage. Tant que le badge ne sera pas présenté, l accès ne sera pas autorisé. Dans le menu Technique, Configuration du site, configurez le bon type de lecteur (par exemple, HID si vous avez raccordé un lecteur de type HID en wiegand 26 bits). Cliquez ensuite sur ce même lecteur puis Modifier. Sélectionnez «Raccorder un lecteur NPP» Si vous sélectionnez «Badge toujours demandé», le badge sera toujours demandé en plus de la plaque d immatriculation. Sinon, sélectionnez une plage automatisme que vous avez préalablement créée. Lorsque cette plage est active, le badge est demandé. Sinon, la plaque d immatriculation seule suffira. Sélectionnez un temps d attente du badge après lecture d une plaque d immatriculation L attribution d une immatriculation à un badge se fait de la même manière que dans le chapitre précédent.

11 VERIFICATION DU FONCTIONNEMENT p.11/20 Vérification du fonctionnement Détection : allumée fixe lorsque l interface INT-NPP AI est correctement raccordée et dialogue avec le lecteur NPP (i.e. le cablage entre l interface et le lecteur ainsi que et le paramétrage des adresses IP sont corrects). Cette diode clignote plusieurs fois lorsqu une plaque d immatriculation est lue. COM : clignote rapidement lorsque l interface INT-NPP-AI est correctement raccordée et dialogue avec la centrale ACCESS-IT UNIT (i.e. le cablage entre l interface et la centrale ainsi que le paramétrage de l identifiant de l interface sont corrects). POWER : allumée fixe lorsque l interface est alimentée.

13 INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS p.13/20 Information and recommendations o In accordance with the European directive UTE C describing the directives 89/336 EEC and 92/31 EEC, INT-NPP-AI complies with the following standards: NF EN for electromagnetic emissions and NF EN for electromagnetic susceptibility. o Wiring recommendations: the cables used to connect the drives, network and other devices must be installed according to the instructions describing Level 2 (protected environment) of the NF EN standard. o This product must be installed by a qualified contractor. Incorrect installation and use are liable to cause an electric shock or fire hazard. Before conducting the installation, read the technical manual and follow the product assembly recommendations. o After switching off the power supply, all the internal capacitors will discharge at a healthy level after 60 seconds under normal conditions. However, in the event of a fault, the charging may be maintained for a much longer time and suitable precautions must be taken before handling the product. Data sheet: SYT recommended 2 pairs recommended Characteristic: Sensitive connection Screen: Recommended To achieve 1,200 m, you need to install a 220 Ω resistor at each end of the network between points A and B (see above). Note: The total length must not exceed the recommended distance.

16 CONFIGURATION WITH ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 OR HIGHER p.16/20 Configuration with ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 or higher Pre-requisite: the rest of this documentation assumes that you have already registered your control unit under ACCESS-IT LOG, that it is properly connected. If this is not the case, refer to the ACCESS-IT LOG quick start guide. 4. Configure the reader type In the Technical menu, select the Site Configuration option, click on the reader of the control unit that will be configured as INT-NPP-AI and click on Configure the reader type. Then select the INT-NPP-AI type in the list.

Configure the interface Enter the ID of your INT-NPP-AI interface (you will find this information on the top of the INT-NPP-AI interface housing). Enter the IP address of the INT-NPP-AI interface Enter the IP address of the NPP reader Note: The NPP interface IP address must have the same sub-network mask as the NPP reader IP address. If this is not the case, communications between the reader and the interface will not be established. The NPP interface IP address must be different from that of the NPP reader. The NPP reader s IP address is written on the reader: If you wish to modify this IP address, consult the SURVISION documentation.

Operating modes Two operating modes are available: a- Use number plate recognition as the only authorisation method b- Use the number plate and a badge (or code) to authorise access a- Using number plate recognition as the only authorisation method No further configuration is required for this operating mode. To assign a number plate to a user, go to the Access Control menu, click on Badges, then select a badge. Check the Number plate box then enter the vehicle registration. This field can accept a maximum of 16 characters (numbers and/or letters).

19 CONFIGURATION WITH ACCESS-IT LOG V2.0.0 OR HIGHER p.19/20 b- Using the number plate and a badge (or code) to authorise access This operating mode enables you to associate a vehicle registration to a badge. Once a number plate has been read, the control unit will wait (for a configurable period) for the badge associated to this vehicle registration to be swiped. Access will not be authorised until the badge has been swiped. In the Technical menu, Site Configuration option, configure the correct reader type (e.g. HID, if you have connected a HID-type reader using 26-bit Wiegand). Then click on the desired reader and on Modify. Select "Connect an NPP reader If you select Badge always required, the badge will always be requested in addition to the number plate. Otherwise, select an automated operation time slot that you have already created. When this slot is active, the badge will be requested. At other times, the number plate will suffice. Select a time range within which the badge must be presented after the number plate is identified. Associating a vehicle number plate to a badge is done as set out in the previous chapter.

20 VERIFICATION OF OPERATION p.20/20 Verification of operation Detection: permanently lit when the INT-NPP-AI interface is correctly connected and communicates with the NPP reader (i.e. cabling between the interface and the reader and the configuration of IP addresses are correct). The diode blinks several times when a vehicle number plate is read. COM: blinks rapidly when the INT-NPP-AI interface is correctly connected and communicates with the ACCESS- IT UNIT control unit (i.e. the cabling between the interface and the control unit and the configuration of the interface identifier are correct). Power: permanently lit when the interface is supplied with power.
