6 PICOT, STREET & ASSOCIÉS 7 Jérome Picot Jérôme Picot est titulaire du brevet d avocat, obtenu à Genève en 1998. Il est diplômé de l Université de Genève (licence en droit en 1992 ; DES oraux en droit du travail et droit pénal en 1995). De 1993 à 1995, il a été assistant à la Chaire de droit du travail et de sécurité sociale de la faculté de droit de l Université de Genève. Dans le cadre de son DES, il s est intéressé, en particulier, à la problématique du transfert des gérants de fortunes/traders d un établissement (avoirs et clientèle) à un autre, sous l angle notamment de la Loi fédérale sur les banques, des dispositions du CO en matière de contrat de travail (obligation de fidélité et clauses d interdiction de concurrence) et de la Loi sur la concurrence déloyale (LCD). Après avoir effectué son stage dans une grande Etude d avocats d affaires de la place, il a travaillé dans une grande Compagnie d assurance. Dès 2001, en tant qu avocat indépendant, il a exercé principalement dans le domaine du droit des affaires, du droit du travail, du droit de la famille (divorce et régimes matrimoniaux), du droit du contentieux administratif, civil et pénal, dans le domaine du droit de la construction et de l immobilier en général (inclus aménagement du territoire) et, plus récemment, dans le secteur du négoce des matières premières (en particulier en matière de contrats pétroliers). Jérôme Picot conseille une clientèle suisse et internationale dans les domaines susmentionnés et les représente devant les autorités judiciaires (pénales, civiles et administratives). Il achève actuellement un post-grade en immobilier (diplôme de l Institut d Etudes immobilières ; IEI) et débutera prochainement une seconde formation au sein des HEC Genève (Diplôma in Trading et Commodities), en collaboration avec le Geneva Trading and Shipping Association (GTSA), qu il achèvera dans un an. From 1993 to 1995 he was an assistant to the labour and social security law Chair at the law faculty of the University of Geneva. Special focus for his DES was set on the transfer of asset managers and their client s assets from one financial institution to another from the point of view of banking law, labour law (loyalty and noncompetition) and from the point of view of non-competition law. After having practised as a trainee in a large business law firm in Geneva, he worked for a large insurance company. As of 2001, as independent practitioner he practised in the field of business law, labour law, family law, (divorce and matrimonial regimes), administrative, civil, criminal litigation, in the field of construction and real estate in general (including territorial organisation) and, more recently, in the field of commodities trading (in particular petroleum contracts). Après son brevet, il a travaillé en tant que fiscaliste auprès d Ernst & Young puis au sein l Etude Python & Peter et à suivi la formation fiscale de la chambre fiduciaire suisse. Il est diplômé de l Université des études internationales de Beijing (License ès lettres), de l Institut des Affaires diplomatiques, Beijing, Chine (Maîtrise en droit) et de l Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement (IHEID), Université de Genève (Doctorat ès sciences politiques). Yafei ZHANG travaille en qualité d avocat en Chine ou en Suisse depuis les années 80. Après l obtention de son doctorat, il a été admis au barreau de Genève en qualité d avocat étranger et travaille en tant qu avocat et/ou conseiller en faveur d une clientèle internationale, notamment suisse et chinoise.
