CONCLUSION Les travaux démontrent que le baclofène, agonistes GABA-b, a un intérêt potentiel pour la réduction, voire l arrêt de la consommation d alcool L effet apparaît variable et fonction de la dose, des posologies élevées étant souvent nécessaires La tolérance des posologies élevées est mal connue chez les alcoolo-dépendants «La suppression de la dépendance à l alcool par le baclofène à haute dose devrait être évaluée par des essais cliniques randomisés» (O. Ameisen, R. de Beaurepaire Annales Médico-Psychologiques 2010 168;159 162 + Rigal et al, 2012) L efficacité du baclofène à haute dose sur la réduction de la consommation d alcool et sa tolérance doivent être évalués par des essais cliniques randomisés 23
