Chaque huile est rigoureusement contrôlée au sein de notre laboratoire selon les critères de qualité suivants : La dénomination botanique Il est capital de préciser le nom botanique de l huile essentielle (famille, genre, espèce, sous-espèce) qui définit avec précision la composition chimique attendue. L origine La situation géographique (altitude, ensoleillement, qualité du sol) influence directement la composition en molécules aromatiques. Certaines huiles essentielles sont ainsi cultivées dans des régions bien spécifiques du monde (Exemple : Ravintsara à Madagascar). La composition biochimique L analyse chromatographique permet d établir la composition biochimique exacte de tous nos lots d huiles essentielles, ceci afin de s assurer de la conformité de leurs propriétés en aromathérapie. La recherche du chémotype (CT) Cette identification permet de distinguer 2 huiles essentielles obtenues à partir d une même plante (même dénomination botanique) mais cultivées dans des zones géographiques différentes (Exemple : Rosmarinus officinalis CT 1,8-cinéole pour l Afrique du Sud et CT camphre en Espagne). Les constantes physiques En complément du profil chimique, les constantes physiques (densité, indice de réfraction) permettent de vérifier la dénomination botanique et l origine. Forte de son expérience, Florame a créé un outil qualité unique : l Aromathèque. Cette base de données compile l ensemble des huiles essentielles analysées depuis près de 20 ans et s enrichit chaque jour. Each oil is rigorously controlled in our laboratory according to the following quality specifications: The botanical name It is important to stipulate the botanical name of the essential oil (family, genus, species, subspecies) that precisely defines the expected chemical composition. The origin The geographic situation (altitude, sunshine, quality of soil) directly influences the composition in aromatic molecules. The biochemical composition The chromatographic analysis enables us to draw up the exact biochemical composition of all our batches of essential oils in order to make sure of the conformity of their properties in aromatherapy. Tous les organismes de contrôle sont privés, agréés par le Ministère de l Agriculture et ne sont liés à aucune structure syndicale ou commerciale. Le logo AB appartient au Ministère de l Agriculture et est réservé aux huiles essentielles susceptibles d un usage alimentaire (Attention : pour toute utilisation d huiles essentielles par voie orale, nous vous recommandons de prendre contact avec un médecin ou un aromathérapeute). logo AB (AB = Agriculture Biologique). Le logo bio de l Union Européenne a pour objectif de permettre aux consommateurs d identifier, avec certitude, des denrées alimentaires contenant au moins 95% d ingrédients bio (hors eau et sel), la part restante n étant pas disponible en bio expressément autorisées. Certaines huiles essentielles issues de l agriculture biologique ne sont pas susceptibles d un usage alimentaire et ne sont donc pas certifiables avec le label AB. Néanmoins elles bénéficient comme toutes les autres huiles certifiées d une traçabilité totale et d une pureté optimale sans trace de pesticide, ni engrais chimique. Afin de continuer à préciser la qualité biologique de ces huiles essentielles, Florame a choisi la certification sous le cahier des charges de la Cosmétique Ecologique et Biologique (charte Cosmébio). La garantie biologique des huiles essentielles et essences Florame est contrôlée et certifiée par Ecocert (F-32600), organisme de contrôle indépendant. Ecocert est l organisme de contrôle le plus important et contrôle à lui tout seul 80 % des opérateurs bio. Agréé par les pouvoirs publics, son rôle est tout à la fois de contrôler la conformité de production et d importation et d informer les différents acteurs des règlements en vigueur. Le logo Origine Botanique correspond aux huiles essentielles qui, pour des raisons ponctuelles ou durables, ne sont pas disponibles en qualité bio sur le marché. Que la plante source soit sauvage (issue de la cueillette) ou conventionnelle (issue de l agriculture classique), elle est sélectionnée pour sa qualité intrinsèque et Florame garantit son origine botanique. Certified organic agriculture offers plants grown in the respect of the biotope, essential oils free from any pollution and total traceability from the plant s sowing to the essential oil bottle. All the inspection bodies are private and accredited by the Ministry of Agriculture. They are not linked to any union or trade organization. AB logo belongs to the French Ministry of Agriculture and only applies to essential oils that are likely to have an alimentary use (Caution: we recommend to take advice from a doctor or an aromatherapist for any oral treatment with essential oils). AB logo (AB = Organic Agriculture). The organic label of the EU has been created to allow the consumer identifying, for sure, the alimentary goods that contain a minimum of 95% organic ingredients (except water and salt). Some essential oils coming from organic agriculture are not likely to have an alimentary use. As such, they cannot hold the AB logo. However, these oils, which are extracted from plants grown without any use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, offer an optimal purity and total traceability like the other oils. Florame has chosen to follow the specifications of the Ecological and Organic Cosmetics (Cosmebio charter) for these essential oils, in order to still state their organic quality. The organic guarantee of Florame essential oils and essences is controlled and certified by Ecocert (F-32600), an independent control organization. Ecocert is the largest control organization and, alone, it controls 80% of organic operators. Approved by the state authorities, its role is both to check the conformity of production and importation and to inform the various actors of the applicable rules. The Origine Botanique logo applies to essential oils, which are, for temporary or long-lasting reasons, not available in organic quality. Parce qu il n y a pas de respect de la Terre sans respect des Hommes, Florame a également tissé des liens étroits avec une centaine de petits producteurs, dont la moitié en France. Florame est une entreprise pionnière Pas après pas, elle s est engagée dans un chemin de traverse : un modèle économique alternatif qui a déjà fait ses preuves. Conquérante mais respectueuse de la terre et des hommes qui cultivent ses richesses, c est tout naturellement à Madagascar que Florame s est engagée en 2008 dans une action qui se situe à la croisée du commerce éthique et du développement durable. Pour transformer des cultures sauvages en cultures bio à Mantasoa et à Nosy Be, les deux lieux de production des huiles essentielles biologiques, il a fallu respecter les cycles naturels des plantes et des agriculteurs locaux, défricher, planter, récolter, mais la récompense est à la hauteur du travail accompli. Aujourd hui, le niaouli, le géranium et l ylang ylang bio proviennent de notre exploitation partenaire. Demain, quand les plants seront arrivés à maturité, le ravintsara et l eucalyptus pourront être distillés.
