5 Des intervenants de haut niveau Marie Landel, CEO de Marie Landel & Associates, Présidente de la section de Boston des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur Marie Landel is a French CPA (Expert Comptable) and she holds an MBA from the European Business School (Paris, Frankfurt, London). She also holds a BA in English from Paris University. She worked both as inside counsel for companies and as part of a CPA practice in France before starting her own practice in the US in She is a well-respected member of the French community in Boston. She was the President of the French-American Chamber of Commerce for three years and is currently an active member. She was on the board of the French-American School of Boston for 5 years. She is also the president of the Boston section of the Foreign trade advisor to the French government. Lucian Wagner - General Partner, EuroUS Ventures, LLC Chairman, Launch in US Alliance Lucian has a truly global outlook with an extensive set of contacts in North America, Europe, and Asia. He is a General Partner at EuroUS Ventures LLC, co-founded the Launch in US Alliance in Boston and is a member of the Board of Directors of Oxxius SA in Lannion, France. From 1997 to 2006 he co-founded several start-ups in the US, raised Angel & VC capital and implemented the exits. He is very active in coaching European entrepreneurs and has spoken repeatedly at events organized by EM Lyon, Babson College and Boston University and participated on many panels in Europe and the US. Before that, Lucian spent more than 20 years in the semiconductor equipment industry, holding a series of Marketing & Sales positions, based out of Switzerland and Boston, MA. Lucian was born in Germany, educated in the French school system, and went on to earn a B.Sc. in International Economics from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University and an MBA from INSEAD. He lives near Zurich, Switzerland. Robert Piret, Professeur associé d entrepreneuriat, ESCP Europe Associate Professor at ESCP Europe, Dr. Piret has lectured extensively on both continents in the areas of Strategy, Organization, International Management, Corporate Development and Entrepreneurship, Finance and Venture Capital, New Product Development, and Motion Picture, TV Production and Management. Dr. Piret has spent his entire professional career between America and Europe. In addition, Dr Piret has over 20 years of experience as a management consultant in the U.S. and in Europe, specializing in strategic and organizational issues in technology intensive areas. He has also been actively engaged in advising and coaching entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial ventures, primarily in the hightech and life sciences areas. While Managing Director at Newbury Piret & Company, Inc. in Boston, he was involved in corporate financing and acquisitions and has also taken a leading role in over a half-dozen startup companies in technology and services industries. $

6 Des intervenants de haut niveau Antoine Mynard Attaché scientifique Mission pour la Science et la Technologie - Boston Spécialiste des questions d innovation, de transfert de technologie et d administration de la recherche, Antoine Mynard occupe le poste d Attaché scientifique au consulat général de France à Boston. Il est l auteur de très nombreux articles, brochures et études de veille technologique et se trouve à l origine de la création de multiples programmes bilatéraux en matière d innovation, coopération et entrepreneuriat, dont NETVA est le dernier exemple en date. Economiste de formation, sa carrière est à la fois publique et privée. Elle l a amené à évoluer dans des pays tels que le Canada, la Chine, Singapour - où il a également exercé en tant qu Attaché Scientifique -. ou dernièrement les Etats-Unis, lui permettant d acquérir une expertise globale en matière d administration de la recherche aussi bien en Amérique du Nord, en Europe ou en Asie, Thomas Deschamps Attaché Scientifique Mission pour la Science et la Technologie - San Francisco Thomas Deschamps holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Paris Dauphine University. He has more than 10 years R&D experience with industry leaders, startups and US national laboratories, working on Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition and Data Analytics. He now works on scientific diplomacy as the head of the Office for Science and Technology at the Consulate General of France in San Francisco. His Office is specifically dedicated to the study of clean technologies (energy efficiency and renewable energies). It aims to establish and strengthen R&D collaborations between France and the US in science and technology involving academic and/or private actors. It publishes reports of US R&D activities and sets up missions and conferences to connect both French and North American R&D communities. It is a bridge between France and the Silicon Valley for the French R&D community. %
