1 EDITORIAL XXI es Journées Européennes de la Société Française de Cardiologie Le thème privilégié des XXI es Journées Européennes de la Société Française de Cardiologie est «la Thrombose et les Médicaments Antithrombotiques». Pour mieux le mettre en valeur, le Comité d Organisation a mis en place cette année une structure particulière au sein du Congrès : le Village Thrombose. Ce village est constitué de trois composantes, géographiquement situées au niveau 3 du Palais des Congrès en un espace signalisé regroupant : Le, où auront lieu des ateliers de cas cliniques interactifs de 90 minutes, (chacun de ces ateliers sera répété le jeudi 13 et le vendredi 14 janvier) : maladie veineuse thrombo-embolique ; prévention des accidents emboliques dans la FA ; prévention secondaire dans la maladie coronaire et l angioplastie coronaire ; accidents des anticoagulants. Un espace «Rencontre avec les s» où auront lieu des rencontres informelles (sans projection de diapositive) entre le public et un, avec un «animateur» chargé de lancer les questions. Il y aura 6 séances par jour. Des bornes informatiques interactives où les participants peuvent s auto-former sur la thrombose avec une série de cas cliniques ou de courtes présentations animées sur des thèmes ayant trait à la thrombose. Une trentaine de cas cliniques différents sont accessibles. Pour permettre au plus grand nombre possible de participants d avoir accès à ces programmes, la durée d utilisation individuelle est limitée à 20 minutes par visite. L ensemble de ce programme est placé sous l autorité d un Comité Scientifique constitué des Prs J. Emmerich, E. Ferrari, G. Helft et D. Mottier. La conception et la réalisation de ce village ont été possibles grâce au partenariat de AstraZeneca, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline, sanofi aventis, The Medicines Company et à l aide d Europa Organisation, que nous souhaitons remercier chaleureusement pour leur soutien. 2 XXI st The European Days of French Society of Cardiology EDITORIAL This year, main me of XXIst European Days of French Society of Cardiology is Thrombosis and antithrombotic drugs. In order emphasize me, organisation committee developed a special structure at convention: Thrombosis Village. This village is situated on level 3 of convention centre and is an area bringing toger three sections: The studio, where 90-minute interactive clinical case workshops will be held (each workshop will be repeated on Thursday, January, 13 and Friday, January, 14): venous thromboembolic disease; emboli prevention in AF; secondary prevention in coronary artery disease and coronary angioplasty; anticoagulant accidents. A meeting with s area, with informal meetings (without slide projection) between public and an, where a «presenter» will be in charge of calling out questions. There will be six sessions per day. Interactive computer posts where participants can teach mselves about thrombosis with a series of clinical cases or short animated presentations on thrombosis-related mes. Approximately 30 different clinical cases are available. In order to allow as many participants as possible to make use of se programs, each individual visit is limited to 20 minutes. The entire program falls under authority of a scientific committee formed by Professors J. Emmerich, E. Ferrari, G. Helft, and D. Mottier. The design and execution of village were made possible thanks to our partnership with AstraZeneca, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, GlaxoSmithKline, sanofi aventis, The Medicines Company and with help of Europa Organisation, whom we would like to thank sincerely for ir support.
