On utilise un verbe en «ing» / V-ing pour faire référence à une activité. V-ing prend la place d un nom dans la phrase. V-ing n est pas le verbe principal de la phrase. Le verbe principal (like / love / hate / be fond of / ) se conjugue au présent simple.

Quand on utilise un V-ing il ne faut pas oublier de conjuguer le verbe principal de la phrase en fonction du sujet.
