Her early years as one of Canada's most celebrated movie actors (Les Mâles, L homme à tout faire, Latitude 55, Bach et Bottine) led her to screenwriting, directing film and theatre, and to her growing reputation as a visual artist. After moving to Sutton she co-founded Le Cœur du village (la Salle Alec et Gérard Pelletier) which has become one of the most successful regional performing arts venues in Quebec.
