Vaccination dans le district de Sapouy qui était en alerte depuis la S41 en 2007. Couverture vaccinale 101,11%. Le pays a 1 167 000 de doses de vaccin AC en stock. Bénin : Situation très préoccupante dans l Atacora ou le risque d une épidémie mixte se profile : 9 cas probables de NmW135 ont été mis en évidence dans les communes suivantes : Matéri (4) ; Natitingou (1); Djougou (2); Tanguiéta (1); Cobly (1). En plus, 4 cas NmA et ont été identifies à Sinendé (2), Gogounou (1) et Kandi (1). Comments: Burkina Faso : 5 districts in alert : Sapouy, Séguénéga, Saponé, Banfora and Gaoua. 1 district in epidemic : Mangodara AR=13,7 (newly created district, bordering with Cote d Ivoire. 131 000 inhts. Mass immunization campaign in the district of Sapouy which was in alert since W41 of 2007. Coverage 101.11%. The country has a stockpile of 1 167 000 doses of vaccines AC. Benin: Very critical situation in the Atacora region where the risk of a mixte epidemic is foreseen: 9 likely cases of NmW135 were isolated in the following communes: Matéri (4) ; Natitingou (1); Djougou (2); Tanguiéta (1); Cobly (1). In addition 4 cases of NmA isolated in Sinendé (2), Gogounou (1) et Kandi (1).
Cameroun : Reste un pays silencieux Centrafrique : Commune de NDENGA et alentours (Préfecture Nana Gribizi, Souspréfecture Kaga Bandoro) est en épidémie due au NmA à partir de la semaine 2 avec un TA de 19.6. Une campagne de vaccination est prévue du 9 au 12 Février 2008. NB : Nous n avons pas encore les données sur tout le pays. Cote d Ivoire : Aucun district en alerte ou en épidémie à S3. Bonne promptitude, mais la complétude doit être améliorée. NB : Nous n avons pas d information sur les districts de Bouna et Ferke, voisins du district de Mangodara en épidémie a S4 (au Burkina Faso). Ethiopie : Reste un pays silencieux. Ghana : Aucun district en alerte ou en épidémie. Mali : Aucun district en alerte ou en épidémie. Vaccin AC disponible en stock = 1 279 000 doses. Niger : Aucun district en alerte ou épidémie. 18 NmA et 11 Spn isolés par le labo du Cermes. 500 000 doses de vaccin AC disponibles et 500 000 autres attendu pour mi-février 2008. Nigeria : 2 districts en alerte Gagarawa à S2 dans l Etat de Jigawa et Kurmi dans l Etat de Taraba à S4. RD Congo : 3 districts en épidémie et 1 district en alerte dans le district administratif de Bunia, province orientale. District sanitaire en alerte: - Aru a S2 (population de 152 015 hts ; TA 5) Districts sanitaires en épidémie: - Laybo a S1 et S2 (pop : 107 638 hts ; TA 13 et 11) - Ariwara S3 (pop : 137 971 hts ; TA 13) était en alerte S1 et S2 TA 9 et 7 - Aungba S2 (pop : 86 298 hts ; TA 17) NB : Nous n avons pas les données de l ensemble de la RDC, ni le rapport de labo. Tchad : Pays silencieux (situation de crise a la fin de S4) Togo : Aucun district en alerte ou en épidémie. Niger: No alert or epidemic district. 18 NmA and 11 Spn have been isolated by CERMES lab. The country has a stockpile of 500 000 doses of AC vaccines, and is expecting 500 000 more by mid- February 2008. Nigeria: 2 districts in alert: Gagarawa in Jigawa State at week 2 and Kurmi in Taraba state at week 4. DR Congo: 3 districts in epidemic and 1 in alert in the administrative district of Bunia, oriental province.
