EXEMPLE of CLASS II RESECTABILITY
EXEMPLE of UNRESECTABILITY < 30% remaining normal liver EXEMPLE of UNRESECTABILITY vascular contact
Reasons for unresectability were: multinodular disease (50%) large size of metastases (21%) vascular ill-location of metastases (18%) extensive concomitant extrahepatic disease (12%) A total of 148 patients (80%) had a follow-up of 5 years or more after hepatectomy. 24 patients (16%) were considered cured.
Liver metastases 85% unresectable 15% resectable CT 10%-30% potentially resectable 70%-90% never resectable Resection 30%?
