To obtain the list of partners or join the Airport Premier Club, consult the website TOUJOURS À VOTRE SERVICE Always at your service Le Centre de Services est ouvert tous les jours de 6h à 23h au Terminal 2, niveau Arrivées (pressing relais, consignes, objets trouvés, dépôts de plis, cerclage de bagage, consignes d objets interdits en cabine, vente accès Salons Club, envoi de fax). The Service Centre is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the Arrivals level at Terminal 2 (pressing service, left luggage, lost & found, parcel deposit, baggage service, deposit of items not allowed on board, access to Club Lounges, Fax service). Décidée en 2003 par l Organisation de l Aviation Civile Internationale, cette démarche, lancée à l échelon planétaire, a pour objectif de contrôler que tout aérodrome recevant du trafic de passagers respecte strictement la réglementation internationale en matière de sécurité aérienne. Les 13 principaux aéroports français ont donc jusqu à fin 2006 pour se préparer à la visite des auditeurs. Cet hiver, l aéroport niçois a devancé l appel en accueillant les auditeurs qui ont minutieusement contrôlé tous les éléments de sécurité et ont procédé à des tests grandeur nature. Au programme, entre autres, le délai de secours du balisage lumineux en cas de panne d'électricité, résolu en quelques secondes ou bien, un test de glissance, prévu pour vérifier la réaction de la piste en temps de neige ou de pluie importante. C est à ce jour confidentiel : l Aéroport Nice Côte d Azur a brillamment passé l audit de certification OACI portant sur la sécurité des aéronefs : aucune non-conformité n a été soulevée. Passed in 2003 by the International Civil Aviation Organization, this procedure, launched at worldwide level, aims to verify that every airport providing passenger transportation strictly observes international regulations on air travel security. France s 13 busiest airports thus have until the end of 2006 to prepare themselves for the auditors visit. This winter, the airport anticipated the call by welcoming the auditors who checked all the items relating to safety down to the minutest detail, and proceeded with life-size tests. Two of the items on the check-list were the time it takes to light up emergency signs in the event of an electricity failure (just a few seconds) and a skid test, intended to check the reaction of a runway under snow or heavy rain conditions. And until now, it was confidential : Nice Côte d Azur Airport has passed the ICAO certification audit with flying colours regarding aircraft safety : no non-conformity was reported. Au programme de la V e Table Ronde Environnement ouverte au public : - L effet de serre - Rappels généraux sur l effet de serre - La contribution de l'aviation des aéroports - Les engagements de l'europe et de la France en matière règlementaire On the programme of the 5th Round Table on the Environment, open to the public : - The greenhouse effect - general reminders of the greenhouse effect - The contribution made by aviation the airports - Commitments made by Europe and France regarding regulations Jeudi 6 octobre 2005 à partir de 18h, Centre d'affaires Terminal 1 Thursday, October 6th, 2005 at 6 p.m., Business Centre, Terminal 1 Après avoir collaboré sur plusieurs axes d'amélioration pour l acceuil aux personnes à mobilité réduite, l'association Tourisme et Handicaps (agissant pour améliorer l'accès aux infrastructures touristiques des personnes à mobilité réduite) et la CCI Nice Côte d'azur font des "navettes bleus" un symbole fort du partenariat signé le 19 septembre. L'Aéroport Nice Côte d'azur vient de recevoir ses navettes flambantes neuves, quatre véhicules à la robe bleu roi du plus bel effet! Ces bus de la société ANT qui assurent la liaison entre les deux terminaux, se révèlent plus larges et confortables que leurs prédécesseurs. Mieux : ils sont parfaitement adaptés aux transports des personnes à mobilité réduite. Un partenariat avec Tourisme et Handicaps En effet, une rampe télescopique située sous la porte arrière du véhicule permet aux personnes se déplaçant en fauteuil de monter à bord très simplement et de façon autonome. Outre cet aménagement, et les groupes de travail déjà en place dans lesquels l'association intervient en tant que conseils, le partenariat entre Tourisme et Handicap et la CCI Nice Côte d'azur comprend notamment : - l'aide à l'évaluation de l'accessibilité des équipements. - la sensibilisation et la formation des personnels à l'accueil des personnes handicapés. - la prise en compte de l'accessibilité pour chaque projet. After working together on various ways of improving accessibility for people of reduced mobility, the Tourisme et Handicaps association (which aims to improve access to tourism infrastructures for people of reduced mobility) and the CCI Nice Côte d'azur are making blue shuttles a strong symbol of the partnership signed on September 19th. Nice Côte d'azur Airport has just received these brand new shuttles, four vehicles decked out in blue to very eye-catching effect! These busses run by the ANT company connect the two terminals and are wider and more comfortable than their predecessors. Even better : they are perfectly adapted to cater for passengers of reduced mobility. A partnership with Tourisme et Handicaps In fact, a telescopic ramp situated beneath the rear door of the vehicle allows passengers in wheel-chairs to board very easily and completely autonomously. In addition to this new facility and the already existing work groups, in which the association plays a part as advisor, the partnership between Tourisme et Handicap and the CCI Nice Côte d'azur covers : - assistance in assessing accessibility of amenities. - heightening the awareness and conducting training of staff in how to cater for handicapped people. - taking accessibility into consideration for each project. 32 GRAND SUD MAGAZINE N 36 GRAND SUD MAGAZINE N 36 33

Ils sont en contacts directs avec tous les clients de la CCI Nice Côte d'azur, les compagnies, assistants, commerçants, tout en garantissant la qualité des services offerts aux passagers, accompagnants et attendants dans les terminaux. Les "MA- NAGER TERMINAUX" sont de véritable "coordinateurs" des actions de la CCI Nice Côte d'azur et de celles de ses partenaires dans les terminaux, avec comme objectif la satisfaction du client final : le passager. La satisfaction du passager Leurs missions? Garantir une qualité d'accueil à la hauteur du deuxième aéroport de France. Leur rôle est autant centré sur la qualité de l'information concernant les vols que sur la signalétique d'orientation dans les deux terminaux. Ils sont aussi là pour faire part des besoins des passagers et sont souvent une source d'inspiration pour celles et ceux qui mettent en place de nouvelles prestations comme le Centre de Services ou les Espaces Internet. En prise directe avec le terrain, ils répondent aux impondérables. Ce sont eux qui gèrent les "passagers en souffrances" en cas de grèves de compagnies aériennes ou de prestataires de services. Working on the spot, they respond to imponderables. They are the ones who deal with passengers suffering from the consequences of strikes by airlines, or service. Their assignments also require them to supervise and keep a check on external service suppliers, and they act as guarantors of the amenities provided by airport infra- des infrastructures. You will perhaps meet them at the information bureaux. UN BATHYSCAPHE ROUGE SUR LES PISTES? A RED BATHYSCAPH FOR THE RUNWAYS? Quel est ce bâtiment rouge aux formes design qui a poussé cet été au beau milieu des pistes? La nouvelle caserne des pompiers, qui regroupe m 2 de locaux administratifs et locaux de vie et 700 m 2 de garage véhicules. Le nouveau bâtiment du Service de Sauvetage et de Lutte contre l'incendie des Aéronefs (SSLIA) a été inauguré le 18 juillet dernier et constitue la caserne des pompiers professionnels de l'aéroport. En effet, une équipe de 34 pompiers entraînés et qualifiés, spécialisés dans l'incendie des avions et le secours aux passagers, veille 24h/24 et 365 jours par an sur la sécurité de l'aéroport. Le SSLIA, auparavant situé à proximité du Terminal 1, est désormais au cœur de la plate-forme pour des délais de réaction encore plus courts. A partir du moment où l'alerte est donnée, l intervention a lieu en moins de 3 minutes. De plus, la caserne dispose d'une vigie à 360 qui permet une surveillance globale de l'aéroport. What s that red building with a trendy shape that suddenly appeared this summer right in the middle of the runways? It s the new fire-station which accommodates administrative services, living premises and a garage of 700 m 2 for fire-engines and other vehicles. The new building for the Service de Sauvetage et de Lutte contre l'incendie des Aéronefs (SSLIA) was inaugurated on July 18th. A design/retro building which plays host to the barracks for the airport s professional firemen. This team of 34 fully trained and qualified firemen, specialising in aircraft fires and emergency assistance for passengers, is at the ready 24 hours a day and 365 days a year to ensure security at Nice Airport. Formerly situated near Terminal 1, the SSLIA is now at the heart of the airport to react to situations even more rapidly. As soon as the alert is given, it can intervene in less than three minutes.
