Detailed Description Practical alternative to wall mounting your Shimmering Curtain in a fixed position. Wallmounted rod permits movement in a 180 arc allowing greater movement of your Shimmering Curtain. Removes the need to tie the curtain back when out of use and helps bring the fibre optics closer to the user. Requires Shimmering Curtain and a Light Source (both to be purchased separately). Quickly and easily installed. Size: 91 x 20 x 18cm 11. Safety Always supervise the use of this product NOTE: Fibre optic products are a constant source of safe tactile and visual stimulation but they should always be used under professional supervision bearing in mind the following important points: Install the light source out of reach of clients. Though safe to stroke across the face, the strands should never be put in the mouth. Should you wish to tie back a curtain (to clean the floor underneath it or to move something large through it without obstruction for example) use a temporary tie back that will undo or break easily such as a paper chain or a very loosely tied short cord. This way, should someone get himself/herself caught or ravelled in the fibre optics they can easily and quickly free himself/herself. Periodically check that the Shimmering Curtain is still securely attached to the Moveable Rod. Tighten the bolts and wing nuts as required. The Moveable Rod is intended to support the weight of the Shimmering Curtain not a person. Never allow a person to pull on the Rod, or to swing from it.

3 12. Technical Specification Size: 91 x 20 x 18cm 13. Installation Please refer to the separate instructions for the Light Source and the Shimmering Curtain. Place the Light Source on wall or shelf. Make sure that the Light Source will remain in place and will not fall. Place the Light Source out of reach of clients. Permanently fix the light source in place if necessary. Using the metal plate attached to the end of the bar as a template, mark your wall where you will need to drill holes. The plate has four pre-drilled holes, two on the left and two on the right. Measuring left to right, there is a distance of 92mm from the centre of one hole to the next. Before attaching the plate to the wall bear in mind the following: Attach the product to a suitably solid wall e.g. brick. The product is not suited to weak and false walls such as studded walls.

4 Fixtures (screws, screw cups etc.) are not included purchase fixings that are appropriate to the construction of your wall and to the weight that will be suspended from it the Moveable Rod weighs approximately 2kg and the Shimmering Curtain weighs approximately 2.3kg. Check that the fixings used will comfortably hold this weight. The height of the Moveable Rod and Shimmering Curtain you will need to be able to reach the Rod so as to push the Shimmering Curtain to one side BUT the rod shouldn t be at a height where someone could walk into it and hurt themselves The location of your light source see separate instructions for Shimmering Curtain and Light Source Attach your Curtain to the Moveable Rod using two bolts and wing nuts please refer to the instructions for the Curtain. Make sure the Curtain is securely attached to the Rod. 14. Care and Maintenance Fibre Optic products provide dramatic visual and tactile stimulation. However, these products should always be handled under close adult supervision. If misused or used carelessly they could cause injury. ROMPA cannot accept any liability for injury or damage caused by the abuse or misuse of these products. Your Fibre Optics should always be used in areas away from sharp edges. The use of Fibre Optic products is not recommended where there is a risk of accidental ingestion. Fibre Optics must not be placed in the mouth. Do not pull on the curtain. Do not place excessive strain on the fibre optic strands or on the light source cable. Clean the fibre optic strands using a mild detergent and a slightly damp cloth, taking care not to wet the boss. Dry thoroughly before re-use. Do not immerse the fibre optics in water. 15. Description L'alternative pratique pour la fixation murale de votre rideau scintillant dans la position désirée. La tringle est fixée au mur et peut être orientée dans un arc de 180. Idéal pour retirer le rideau lorsqu il n est pas utilisé ou encore pour rapprocher les fibres optiques des utilisateurs. A utiliser avec le rideau chatoyant réf et la source lumineuse classique réf (ces articles sont vendus séparément). Facile et rapide à installer. Dimensions : 91 x 20 x 18 cm. 11. Sécurité Il faut toujours surveiller l utilisation de ce produit N.B. Les fibres optiques offrent la stimulation visuelle et tactile en sécurité, mais il faut toujours surveiller leur usage, en tenant compte des points suivants : Installez la source lumineuse hors de la portée des personnes. On peut caresser les brins au visage, mais n introduisez jamais les brins dans la bouche. De temps en temps vérifiez que le rideau est toujours bien attaché à la tringle. Serrez les boulons et les écrous papillon selon besoin. La tringle soutiendra le poids du rideau, mais ne supporters pas le poids d une personne. N utilisez jamais la tringle comme balançoire. 12. 7 13. Installation Prière de se référer aux précautions d'emploi pour le Rideau Chatoyant et de la Source Lumineuse. Mettez la source lumineuse au mur ou sur un rayon. Vérifiez que la source lumineuse restera en position et ne se déplacera pas. Mettez la source lumineuse hors de la portée des personnes. Installez la source lumineuse de façon permanente si nécessaire. Pour éviter tout dommage des fibres optiques, ne pas laisser trainer les fibres sur le sol. Servez-vous de la plaque en métal au bout de la barre comme guide pour marquer votre mur marquer les points où il faut percer le mur. Cette plaque a quatre trous déjà percés, deux à gauche et deux à droite. La distance entre le centre d un trou à gauche à celui de la droite est 92mm. Avant de fixer la plaque au mur, tenez compte des points suivants : Attachez ce produit à un mur solide ex. de briques. Ce produit ne convient pas aux murs faibles et faux comme les murs fabriqués de panneaux de particules.

8 Les installations (des vis, des supports de vis etc.) ne sont pas comprises achetez des installations qui conviennent à la construction de votre mur et au poids qui y sera suspendu la tringle pèse environ deux kilos et le rideau pèse environ 2.3 kilos. Vérifiez que les installations peuvent tenir ce poids sans risque. La hauteur de la tringle et du rideau il faut atteindre la tringle pour la pousser mais ne pas l installer où elle pourrait causer un accident La position de votre source lumineuse voir les conseils fournis avec votre Rideau Chatoyant et votre Source Lumineuse Attachez le Rideau à la Tringle en vous servant des boulons et les écrous papillon. Vérifiez que le Rideau est bien attaché à la Tringle. 14. Soin et Entretien Les fibres optiques offrent une stimulation visuelle et tactile en sécurité. Une surveillance est toujours nécessaire. Cet article peut blesser en cas d une utilisation non conforme. ROMPA se décharge de toute responsabilité en cas d une utilisation non conforme de l article. Tenez les fibres optiques en dehors d objets tranchants ou abrasifs. Ne pas se servir des fibres optiques avec les personnes qui introduisent les objets dans la bouche. Ne jamais introduire les objets dans la bouche. Veillez à ce que le rideau (et son câble) ne soit pas sujet à des tensions trop importantes. Nettoyez les brins des fibres optiques en vous servant d un torchon légèrement humide avec de l eau un peu savonneuse. Ne pas mouiller l embout. Laissez sécher les brins avant une nouvelle utilisation. Ne pas immerger les fibres optiques dans l eau. 15.
