2 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung Der Reflexlichttaster erfaßt berührungslos Gegenstände und Materialien und meldet sie durch ein Schaltsignal. Tastweite (r): siehe Typaufkleber (Wert bezogen auf weißes Papier 200mm x 200mm). Elektrischer Anschluß Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei. Schließen Sie das Gerät an (s. Seite 17 oder Typenschild). Adernfarben bei Kabelgeräten: BN = braun, BU = blau. Ausgangsfunktion hell- ( ) oder dunkelschaltend ( ) je nach Gerätetyp (s. Typenschild). Hinweis: Miniatur-Sicherung gemäß technischem Datenblatt einsetzen. Empfehlung: Nach einem Kurzschluss das Gerät auf sichere Funktion prüfen. Montage Einstelltaste LED rot Richten Sie den Reflexlichttaster auf das zu erfassende Objekt aus und montieren Sie ihn mit Hilfe einer Montagehalterung. Maximale Reichweite nur bei genauer Ausrichtung. Wichtig! Inbetriebnahme Der Reflexlichttaster ist ohne weitere Einstellungen betriebsbereit (plug and play) und auf Tastweite max. eingestellt. Dies bedeutet, daß der Reflexlichttaster mit maximaler Betriebsreserve betrieben wird. Die nachfolgend beschriebenen Einstellungen sind nur erforderlich wenn z.b. ein störender Hintergrund ausgeblendet werden muß. 2

3 Einstellen der Empfindlichkeit bei stillstehenden Objekten Gerät in den Programmiermodus schalten. 1 Drücken Sie ca. 2s, bis die LED blinkt. Die LED beginnt schnell zu blinken. Sobald die LED langsam blinkt ist das Gerät im Programmiermodus. Empfindlichkeit mit Objekt einstellen. 2 Drücken Sie 1 mal. Während des ersten Meßdurchgangs erlischt die LED. Sobald die LED langsam blinkt ist das Gerät wieder im Programmiermodus. Empfindlichkeit ohne Objekt einstellen. 3 Drücken Sie 1 mal. DEUTSCH Während des zweiten Meßdurchgangs erlischt die LED. War die Programmierung erfolgreich, befindet sich das Gerät nun im normalen Betriebsmodus. Einstellungen 2 und 3 können auch in umgekehrter Reihenfolge erfolgen. Ist die Einstellung der Empfindlichkeit nicht möglich (z. B. Hellsignal und Dunkelsignal sind annähernd gleich stark) blinkt die LED nach Schritt 3 für ca. 2s. Danach geht das Gerät mit unveränderter Empfindlichkeit in den Betriebsmodus über. 3

4 Einstellen der Empfindlichkeit bei bewegten Objekten Gerät in den Programmiermodus schalten. 1 Drücken Sie ca. 2s, bis die LED blinkt. Die LED beginnt schnell zu blinken. Sobald die LED langsam blinkt ist das Gerät im Programmiermodus. Lassen Sie während der Messung (ca. 1s) mindestens zwei Objekte durch den Erfassungsbereich der Optik laufen. 2 Drücken Sie 1 mal. Während des ersten Meßdurchgangs erlischt die LED. Sobald die LED langsam blinkt ist das Gerät wieder im Programmiermodus. Lassen Sie während der Messung (ca. 1s) mindestens zwei Objekte durch den Erfassungsbereich der Optik laufen. 3 Drücken Sie 1 mal. Während des zweiten Meßdurchgangs erlischt die LED. 5 Wird die Einstelltaste während der Programmierung 15 min. nicht betätigt geht das Gerät automatisch mit unveränderter Empfindlichkeit in den Betriebsmodus über. Wärend des gesamten Programmiervorgangs ist der Ausgang des Gerätes durchgeschaltet! Einstellen maximaler Empfindlichkeit Gehen Sie in den Programmiermodus (s. Schritt 1). Richten Sie das Gerät so aus, daß kein Licht reflektiert wird. Drücken Sie 2 mal die Einstelltaste (s. Schritte 2 und 3). Verriegeln / Entriegeln Drücken Sie 10s lang. Die rote LED beginnt nach 2s schnell zu blinken. Danach blinkt die LED ca. 8s langsam. Nach dem Verlöschen der LED ist das Gerät verriegelt. Drücken Sie 10s lang. Nach 10s erlischt die LED, die Verriegelung ist aufgehoben. Betrieb Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät sicher funktioniert. Anzeige durch LED und durch Ausgang. DEUTSCH Hellschaltende Geräte (Schließer) Das Gerät empfängt reflektiertes Licht vom Objekt LED leuchtet, Ausgang geschaltet: Objekt erkannt (sicherer Bereich). Das Gerät empfängt kein reflektiertes Licht vom Objekt LED aus, Ausgang nicht geschaltet: kein Objekt erkannt. 5

6 Dunkelschaltende Geräte (Öffner) Das Gerät empfängt kein reflektiertes Licht vom Objekt LED leuchtet, Ausgang geschaltet: kein Objekt vorhanden (sicherer Bereich). Das Gerät empfängt sehr wenig reflektiertes Licht vom Objekt LED blinkt (1 Hz), Ausgang geschaltet: kein Objekt vorhanden (unsicherer Bereich). Das Gerät empfängt reflektiertes Licht vom Objekt LED aus, Ausgang nicht geschaltet: Objekt erkannt. Wartung Halten Sie die Linsen des Geräts von Verschmutzungen frei. Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Lösungsmittel oder Reiniger, die die Kunststofflinsen beschädigen könnten. 6

7 Function and features The diffuse reflection sensor detects objects and materials without contact and indicates their presence by a switched signal. Range (r): see type label (value referred to white paper 200mm x 200mm). Electrical connection Isolate power, then connect the unit (see page 17 or type label). Core colours: BN = brown, BU = blue. Output function light-on ( ) or dark-on mode ( ) depending on the unit (see type label). Note: insert a miniature fuse according to the technical data sheet. Recommendation: check the unit for reliable function after a short cirucit. Installation push button LED red Align the photocell and fasten it to a mounting bracket. Maximum range is only possible with precise alignment. NB: Commissioning The diffuse reflection sensor is supplied ready to operate (plug and play) set at the max. sensing range. This is sufficient if the diffuse reflection sensor can operate with maximum excess gain (highest contrast). The following setting procedures should only be necessary in less straightforward applications, for example if a background must be "tuned out". ENGLISH 7

8 Setting of the sensitivity with stationary objects Activate the programming mode of the unit. 1 Press for about 2s until the LED flashes. The LED starts to flash rapidly. The unit is in the programming mode as soon as the LED flashes slowly Set the sensitivity with object. 2 Press once. The LED goes out during the first measuring process. As soon as the LED flashes slowly, the unit is in the programming mode again. Set the sensitivity without object. 3 Press once. The LED goes out during the second measuring process. If the programming was successful, the unit is now in the normal operating mode. You can also proceed in reverse order: first setting without the object, then with the object. If the setting of the sensitivity is not possible (e.g. object signal and background signal are about the same), the LED flashes after step 3 for approx. 2s. The unit then passes into the operating mode with the sensitivity being unchanged. 8

9 Setting of the sensitivity with moving objects Activate the programming mode of the unit. 1 Press for about 2s until the red LED flashes. The LED starts to flash rapidly. The unit is in the programming mode as soon as the LED flashes slowly. During the measurement (approx. 1s) allow at least two objects to move through the sensing area of the lens. 2 Press once. The LED goes out during the first measuring process. As soon as the LED flashes slowly, the unit is in the programming mode again. If the programming was successful, the unit is now in the normal operating mode. 10 If the setting button is not activated for 15 minutes during the programming process, the unit passes automatically into the operating mode with the sensitivity being unchanged. The output of the unit is switched during the whole programming operation! Setting of the maximum sensitivity Go into the programming mode (step 1). Align the unit so that no light is reflected. Press the setting button twice (see steps 2 and 3). Locking / Unlocking Press for 10s. The red LED starts to flash rapidly after 2s. After that the LED flashes slowly for approx. 8s. When the LED goes out the unit is locked. Press for 10s. After 10s the LED goes out, locking is cancelled. Operation Check the safe functioning of the diffuse reflection sensor. Display by LED and by the output. Units with light-on mode (normally open) The unit receives light reflected by the object LED is on, output switched: object detected (certain range). The unit receives light reflected by the object LED flashes (1 Hz), output switched,: object detected (uncertain range). The unit receives no light reflected by the object LED off, output not switched: no object detected. 10

11 Units with dark-on mode (normally closed) The unit receives no light reflected by the object LED is on, output switched: no object present (certain range). The unit receives very little light reflected by the object LED flashes (1 Hz), output switched: no object present (uncertain range). The unit receives light reflected by the object LED off, output not switched: object detected. Maintenance Keep the lens of the sensor free from soiling. For cleaning do not use any solvents or cleaning agents which could damage the plastic lenses. ENGLISH 11

12 Fonctionnement et caractéristiques Le système réflexion directe détecte des objets et matières sans contact et indique leur présence par un signal de commutation. Portée (r): voir l étiquette (valeur sur du papier blanc 200mm x 200mm). Raccordement électrique Mettre l installation hors tension avant le raccordement de la cellule optoélectronique. Raccordement: voir page 17 ou l étiquette de la cellule. Couleurs des fils: BN = brun, BU = bleu. Fonction de sortie: éclairement ( ) ou obscurcissement ( ) selon la version de la cellule (voir l'étiquette). Remarque : insérer un fusible miniature selon la fiche technique. Recommandation : vérifier le bon fonctionnement de l'appareil après un court-circuit. Montage Orienter le système réflexion directe en direction de l objet à détecter et le fixer avec une équerre de fixation. Portée optimale seulement avec orientation précise. Important! Mise en service La cellule réflexion directe est disponible sans effectuer des réglages (plug and play) et est réglée à la portée maxi. Cela signifie que la cellule réflexion directe fonctionne avec une capacité de réserve maximale. Les réglages décrits ci-dessous ne sont nécessaires que si, par exemple, un arrière-plan perturbant doit être "supprimé". 12 bouton poussoir LED rouge

13 Réglage de la sensibilité en cas d objets statiques Activer le mode programmation de la cellule. 1 Appuyer pendant env. 2s jusqu à ce que la LED clignote. La LED commence à clignoter rapidement. Dès que la LED clignote lentement, la cellule est en mode programma-tion. Régler la sensibilité avec l objet. 2 Appuyer une fois. La LED s'éteint lors de la première mesure. Dès que la LED clignote lentement, la cellule est de nouveau en mode programmation. Régler la sensibilité sans objet. 3 Appuyer une fois. La LED s'éteint lors de la seconde mesure. Si la programmation est réussie, la cellule est maintenant dans le mode de fonctionnement normal. Vous pouvez également procéder dans l ordre inverse: mesurer d abord sans objet, ensuite avec l objet. Si le réglage de la sensibilité n est pas possible (p. ex. le signal de l objet et le signal de l arrière-plan ont presque la même intensité), la LED clignote après l étape 3 pendant env. 2s. Ensuite la cellule passe au mode de fonctionnement sans changer de la sensibilité. 13 FRANÇAIS

La sortie de la cellule est commutée pendant toute la programmation! Réglage de la sensibilité maximale Passer au mode programmation (étape 1). Orienter la cellule afin que la lumière ne soit pas réfléchie. Appuyer sur le bouton de réglage deux fois (voir étapes 2 et 3). Blocage / Déblocage Appuyer pendant 10s. Après 2s la LED rouge commence à clignoter rapidement. Puis, la LED clignote lentement pendant environ 8s. Quand la LED s'éteint, la cellule est bloquée. Appuyer pendant 10s. Après 10s la LED s'éteint, le blocage est annulé. Fonctionnement Vérifier le bon fonctionnement de la cellule. Indication par LED et par la sortie. Cellules avec mode éclairement (normalement ouvert) La cellule reçoit la lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED est allumée, la sortie est commutée: objet détecté (zone sûre). La cellule reçoit la lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED clignote (1 Hz), la sortie est commutée: objet détecté (zone non sûre). La cellule ne reçoit pas de lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED est éteinte, la sortie n'est pas commutée: pas d'objet détecté. FRANÇAIS 15

16 Cellules avec mode obscurcissement (normalement fermé) La cellule ne reçoit pas de lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED est allumée, la sortie est commutée: pas d'objet présent (zone sûre). La cellule reçoit très peu de lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED clignote (1 Hz), la sortie est commutée: pas d'objet présent (zone non sûre). La cellule reçoit la lumière réfléchie sur l'objet La LED est éteinte, la sortie n'est pas commutée: objet détecté. Entretien Les lentilles de la cellule doivent être dégagées de tout encrassement. Pour le nettoyage ne pas utiliser de solvants ou de produits qui pourraient abîmer les lentilles en plastique. 16
