BY-LAW Councillor Paul Dufort gives notice of motion that at a subsequent sitting of Council, a by-law ordering the reconstruction of infrastructures and the construction of various road works in different areas as well as the payment of related professional fees, and authorizing for these purposes a long-term loan in an amount of $7,000,000, will be submitted for adoption. RÉSOLUTION CM ORIENTATIONS DU CONSEIL MUNICIPAL POUR LES SÉANCES DU CONSEIL DE L'AGGLOMÉRATION DE MONTRÉAL ATTENDU QU en vertu de l article 4 de la Loi sur l exercice de certaines compétences municipales dans certaines agglomérations (L.R.Q., c. E ) (ciaprès la «Loi»), l agglomération urbaine de Montréal est composée notamment de la Ville de Kirkland depuis le 1 er janvier 2006; ATTENDU QU en vertu de l article 58 de la Loi, toute municipalité centrale a un conseil d agglomération dont la nature, la composition et les règles de fonctionnement sont prévues par décret et que ce conseil est un organe délibérant de la municipalité; ATTENDU QU en vertu de l article 59 de la Loi, toute municipalité liée doit être représentée au conseil d agglomération; ATTENDU QU en vertu de l article 61 de la Loi, lors d une séance du conseil de toute municipalité liée, l'adoption d'une résolution établissant l orientation du conseil doit être proposée; ATTENDU QUE des séances du conseil d agglomération pourraient être tenues en 2014, 2015, 2016 et 2017 pour lesquelles les membres du conseil devront établir les orientations devant être respectées par le maire ou son représentant; et no ; Proposé par le conseiller A. Morson RESOLUTION CM ORIENTATIONS OF THE TOWN COUNCIL FOR THE MEETINGS OF THE MONTREAL URBAN AGGLOMERATION COUNCIL WHEREAS according to section 4 of An Act respecting the exercise of certain municipal powers in certain urban agglomerations (R.S.Q., c. E ) (hereinafter the Act ), the urban agglomeration of Montreal is made up inter alia, of the Town of Kirkland since January 1, 2006; WHEREAS according to section 58 of the Act, every central municipality has an urban agglomeration council, the nature, composition and operating rules of which are set out in an order in council and that this agglomeration council constitutes a deliberative body of the municipality; WHEREAS under section 59 of the Act, every municipality must be represented on the urban agglomeration council; WHEREAS according to section 61 of the Act, at a meeting of the council of a related municipality, the adoption of a resolution establishing the council s stance has to be proposed; WHEREAS agglomeration council meetings may be held in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 for which members of the municipal council shall establish the stance having to be respected by the Mayor or his representative; and CONSIDERING the overall content of Summary Report No ; Moved by Councillor A.
