2 Optique Banc optic 4 1 Principe Cet appareil a été conçu pour permettre une approche qualitative des phénomènes optiques figurant au programme de la classe de quatrième. Sa conception autorise, si le professeur le juge utile, des manipulations quantitatives : le banc de guidage est gradué tous les mm, sur toute sa longueur, les focales des lentilles sont connues. 2 Composition Le banc OPTIC 4 est composé des éléments suivants : porte source lumineuse muni de : o 2 bornes pour alimentation (pile 4,5 V), o 1 ampoule à filament de tungstène, petit culot à vis Ø 10 mm - 3,5 V - 0,2 A, o douille à vis isolée, o déflecteur parabolique, o guides pour série de diaphragmes. 5 supports polyvalents utilisables soit comme : o porte-lentille, fixation par clip métallique, o porte-diaphragme, fixation par clip métallique, o porte-lettre-objet, fixation par clip métallique, o porte-série de diaphragmes. On peut faire coulisser celle-ci dans des guides prévus à cet effet. 5 lentilles en polymétacrylate Ø 40 mm C = - 10 F = mm C = + 4 F = mm C = + 8 F = mm C = + 10 F = mm C = + 20 F = + 50 mm FRANÇAIS 1

Accessoires : Lot de piles 4,5 V 60 x 60 mm, Réf Lot de 10 connexions "spécial pile 4,5 V", Réf Mise en service Opérer dans une salle semi-obscure (comme pour une projection). Pour rapprocher un support de la source lumineuse : BRANCHER LA SOURCE LUMINEUSE SUR SA FACE ARRIERE Une feuille de papier, ou un carton blanc, constitueront un écran idéal. Lors de manipulations quantitatives, la lecture des mesures sera facilitée par l'index figurant sur chaque support. 3 Manipulations Propagation rectiligne de la lumière, Image réelle d'un objet réel donnée par une lentille convergente, Marche d'un rayon et du faisceau qui, issus d'un point de l'objet, convergent au point conjugué de l'image, Etude du foyer et de la distance focale d'une lentille (approche des mots "convergence-divergence et dioptrie"), Schématisation de l'appareil photographique, du projecteur, de la lunette, du microscope. 4 Service après vente La garantie est de 2 ans, le matériel doit être retourné dans nos ateliers. 4 Optics Optic 4 bench 1 Principle This equipment was designed to enable a qualitative approach to be adopted to optical phenomena appearing in the programme of the fourth year. If the teacher considers it useful, its design permits quantitative operations. The guide rail is graduated at ½ cm intervals all along its length, and the focal of the lenses are known. 2 Composition The OPTIC 4 bench is made up of the following elements: the light-source holder fitted with: o two terminals for the power supply (4.5 V dry battery) o a tungsten-filament, 3.5 V, 0.2 A lamp for a small (Ø 10 mm) screw-in fitting. o an insulated screw-type socket o a parabolic deflector o guides for diaphragms series 5 polyvalent supports used as: o lens holder Fixed by a metal clip o diaphragm holder Fixed by a metal clip o letter-object holder Fixed by a metal clip o diaphragm-series holder. Accessories : Set of 4,5 V batteries, 60 x 60 mm, Ref Set of 10 special 4,5 V battery connections, Ref Procedure Work in very dimly-lit room (as for a projection). To bring a support up to the light source: CONNECT THE LIGHT SOURCE TO ITS REAR PANEL A sheet of paper or a piece of white card will make an ideal screen During these quantitative operations, the reading of measurements will be facilitated by the markings placed on each support. 3 The operations Rectilinear propagation of light, Real image of a real object given by a convergent lens, Trajectory of a ray and of the beam which, coming from a point on the object, converge at the conjugate point on the image, Examination of the focus and of the focal length of a lens (definition of the words convergence, divergence and dioptre ), Schematic representation of the photographic camera, the projector, the spectacle lens, and the microscope. 4 After-Sales Service This material is under a two year warranty and should be returned to our stores in the event of any defects.
