1 Ontario Energy Board completes preliminary review of Kontrol Energy Corp. s application for a Unit Sub-Metering Licence On March 16, 2017, The Ontario Energy Board has completed their preliminary review of Kontrol Energy Group Inc. s, (a subsidiary company of Kontrol Energy Corp.) application. The Board expects to render a decision and/or order in this application in April The Board has now issued its Notice of Application and Written Hearing relating to our unit submetering licence application. 2 Ontario Energy Board Commission de l énergie de l Ontario EB NOTICE OF APPLICATION AND WRITTEN HEARING Application for Unit Sub-Metering Licence The Application filed an application dated December 15, 2016 with the Ontario Energy Board (the OEB ) under section 60 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998, (the Act ) for a Unit Sub-Metering licence. The granting of this licence would enable the applicant to provide unit sub-metering services in Ontario. The application will be decided by an employee of the OEB who has been delegated this authority pursuant to section 6 of the Act. The OEB does not intend to provide for an award of costs when deciding the application. How to see the Application To see a copy of the application, go to the Consumer page of the OEB s website and enter the case number EB in the Find an Application box. A copy can also be seen at the OEB s office and at s office at the addresses indicated below, or on s website. Oral vs. Written Hearings There are two types of OEB hearings oral and written. The OEB intends to proceed with this application by way of a written hearing. If you think an oral hearing is needed, you can write to the OEB to explain why. Your submission must be received by the OEB and copied to by April 3, 2017.

3 - 2 - Ontario Energy Board How to Participate If you wish to participate in the written hearing, you may file a written submission setting out your views on the application. Your submission must be received by the OEB and copied to by April 7, If the applicant wishes to respond to the submission(s), such response must be filed with the OEB and copied to any party who made a submission by April 14, All written submissions sent to the OEB will be placed on the public record, which means that the written submissions will be available for viewing at the OEB's offices and will be placed on the OEB's website. If the written submission is from a private citizen then, before placing the written submission on the public record, the OEB will remove any personal (i.e., not business) contact information from the written submission (e.g., the address, phone number, and address of the individual). However, the name of the individual and the content of the written submission will become part of the public record. How to File Documents with the OEB All written submissions filed with the OEB must quote file number EB and clearly state the sender s name, postal address, telephone number and address. You must forward two paper copies and, if possible, an electronic copy in Word format and in searchable PDF format, of your written submission to the OEB and one copy to the applicant. All written submissions should be directed to the attention of the Board Secretary at the address below, and be received no later than 4:45 p.m. on the required date. Need More Information? 5 Ontario Energy Board Commission de l énergie de l Ontario EB AVIS DE REQUÊTE ET D AUDIENCE ÉCRITE Requête pour l obtention d un permis de compteurs divisionnaires La requête a déposé le 15 décembre 2016 une requête auprès de la Commission de l énergie de l Ontario (la CEO) en vertu de l article 60 de la Loi de 1998 sur la Commission de l énergie de l Ontario (la Loi) afin d obtenir un permis de compteur divisionnaire. L attribution de ce permis permettrait au demandeur de fournir des services de compteur divisionnaire en Ontario. Un employé de la CEO à qui a été délégué ce pouvoir conformément à l article 6 de la Loi statuera sur cette demande. La CEO n a pas l intention de présenter une attribution de frais en statuant sur cette demande. Comment consulter la requête Pour consulter un exemplaire de la requête, rendez-vous sur la page Consommateurs du site Web de la Commission et entrez le numéro de dossier EB dans la case «Trouver une requête». Un exemplaire peut également être consulté au bureau de la CEO et au bureau de aux adresses indiquées plus bas, ainsi que sur le site Web de Audiences écrites ou orales Il existe deux types d audience à la CEO : orale et écrite. La CEO compte traiter cette requête lors d une audience écrite. Si vous pensez qu une audience orale est nécessaire, vous pouvez nous écrire pour nous en expliquer la raison. Vous devez présenter vos observations à la CEO et à Kontrol Energy Group, Inc. d ici le 3 avril 2017.

6 - 2 - Commission de l énergie de l Ontario Comment participer Si vous souhaitez participer à l audience écrite, vous pouvez présenter une demande écrite indiquant votre position sur ce dossier. Vous devez présenter vos observations à la CEO et à d ici le 7 avril Si le requérant souhaite répondre aux observations écrites, il doit déposer sa réponse auprès de la CEO et en faire parvenir une copie à toutes les parties qui ont présenté des observations, et ce, au plus tard le 14 avril Toutes les observations écrites envoyées à la CEO seront versées au dossier public, ce qui signifie qu elles seront disponibles pour consultation à ses bureaux et seront publiées sur son site Web. Si les observations écrites sont présentées par un simple citoyen, avant de verser les observations écrites au dossier public, la CEO supprimera toutes les coordonnées personnelles (c.-à-d. non commerciales) des observations écrites (soit l adresse, le numéro de téléphone et l adresse courriel de cette personne). Toutefois, le nom de ce citoyen et le contenu de ses observations écrites feront partie du dossier public. Comment déposer des documents auprès de la CEO Toutes les observations écrites déposées auprès de la CEO doivent indiquer le numéro de dossier EB et indiquer clairement le nom de l expéditeur, son adresse postale, son numéro de téléphone et son adresse courriel. Vous devez faire parvenir deux copies papier de vos observations écrites et, si possible, une copie électronique en format Word et en format PDF consultable à la CEO, et une copie au requérant. Toutes les observations écrites doivent être adressées à l attention de la secrétaire de la Commission, à l adresse ci-dessous, et doivent être reçues au plus tard à 16 h 45 le jour convenu.
