1 ESC Enhancement Memo We have currently implemented a few system changes Please click here for instructions about Refresh Cache 1. Microfiche for Ontario Corporations are no longer available The Ontario government has decided to update their systems and processes for Ontario corporations in relation to Corporate Records/Copies (Articles of Incorporation, Amendment, etc.). Therefore, Microfiche will no longer be available for purchase. In lieu of Microfiche, only PDF version of the Corporate Records will now be available. We have implemented the change on our website to reflect this change at the Ontario government. Now when ordering Copies of documents (Microfiche) through eservice, it will now be named under Corporate Records instead of Copies.

2 i. Order Uncertified Corporate Records The user can order the Uncertified Corporate Records by selecting the Corporate Records as shown below. On selecting the Corporate Records, the user can select either Uncertified or Certified as shown below.

3 After placing your order, the results will be available via My Transactions or via the completed s that are sent out after the order is completed. Please Note Ontario will now provide all available documents on file (Articles of Incorporation, any amendments etc.) Your Corporate Records will be available via My Transactions or via the Completed sent out to you including your invoice ii. To Order Certified Corporate Records When ordering Certified Corporate Records, Ontario will now provide a printed copy of the documents attached with an official certification from the Ontario Government (this certification includes an official stamp and seal). The user can order the Certified Corporate Records by selecting the Corporate Records as shown below.

4 Please Note Ontario will now provide all available documents on file (Articles of Incorporation, any amendments etc.) A copy of the uncertified Corporate Records will be available via My Transactions or via the Completed sent out to you including your invoice The certified copy will be sent via courier as per regular procedure, unless advised otherwise 2. Filing an ON Initial Return/Notice of Change or ON Annual Return When filing an Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return on ESC s website, it is now required to be filed in a two-part process (completing a data extract followed by filing an initial return/notice of change or annual return). The process is outlined below: Step 1: Click ON Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return in the Filings heading of our site.

5 Step 2: This will direct you towards a Data Extract Only order

6 Step 3: You will need to complete the Data Extract Only order in full and you will be billed

7 Step 4: After receiving the Order Confirmation from the Data Extract Only you will need to click the order number link from the Order Confirmation page. Clicking the order number from the Order No.: bring you over to start the filing of the Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return Note: If you are not filing your Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return immediately after submitting the Data Extract Only, then you can find your data extract order within the My Transactions section of your account or if the data extract was in the last week of orders you ve done with ESC, it will be in the My Order Status section.

8 Step 5: After finding your order number You will follow the Next Steps link and click File an Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return to file your Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return

9 Step 6: You can continue to file your Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return as per usual procedure. Please submit when you are ready.

10 **Please Note** - You will be billed twice - once for the Data Extract Only (Step 2) and then for the Initial Return/Notice of Change or Annual Return (Step 6) - however the price for filing has not changed. Les microfiches pour les sociétés ontariennes ne sont plus disponibles Le gouvernement de l Ontario a pris la décision de mettre à jour leur processus pour les sociétés ontariennes relativement aux documents corporatifs/copies (statuts d incorporation, modification, etc.) Les microfiches ne seront plus disponibles à des fins d achat. Compte tenu de ce changement, seule la version PDF des documents corporatifs sera dorénavant disponible. En raison de ce changement au gouvernement de l Ontario, nous avons apporté des modifications à notre site web afin de refléter ce changement. Dorénavant, lors de la commande de Copies de documents (Microfiche), le nom sera maintenant «Documents corporatifs» au lieu de Copies.

Dépôt d un «ON rapport initial/avis de modification» ou «ON Déclaration annuelle Lorsque vous déposez un «rapport initial/avis de modification» ou «Déclaration annuelle» sur le site de ESC, il est maintenant requis de procéder en deux étapes. **Svp prendre note** - Vous serez facturé deux fois bien que le prix pour le dépôt n a pas changé. Étape 1 : Cliquer sur «ON Rapport initial/avis de modification» ou «ON Déclaration annuelle» dans la barre de menu Dépôts sur notre site.

16 Étape 2 : Ceci vous dirigera vers une commande «Extraction de données uniquement» Étape 3 : Vous devrez compléter la commande «Extraction de données uniquement» en totalité et être facturé.

17 Étape 4 : Après avoir reçu la «Confirmation de la commande» du «Extraction de données uniquement» vous devrez cliquer sur le lien du numéro de commande de la page «Confirmation de la commande». En cliquant sur le numéro de commande du «No. de commande :» vous permettra de commencer le dépôt «rapport initial/avis de modification» ou «Déclaration annuelle».

18 Trouver votre numéro de commande Si vous ne déposez pas votre «Rapport initial/avis de modification» ou «Déclaration annuelle» tout de suite après avoir soumis le demande d extraction de données uniquement Vous pouvez trouver la demande d extraction de données dans la section «Mes transactions» de votre compte ou si la demande d extraction de données était dans la dernière semaine de commandes faites auprès de ESC, elle se trouvera dans la section «Statut de mes commandes». Vous pouvez cliquer sur le numéro de commande pour débuter l étape 5.

22 Refresh Cache We have refreshed our website. Please follow the steps to refresh the cache in your browser. Nous avons mis à jour notre site. Veuillez suivre les étapes suivantes afin de rafraîchir la mémoire cache de votre navigateur. Google Chrome 1. On your computer, open Chrome 2. At the top right, click More 3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data 4. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time 5. Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes 6. Click Clear data Google Chrome 1. Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez Chrome 2. En haut à droite, cliquez sur Plus 3. Cliquez sur Autres outils> Effacer les données de navigation 4. En haut, choisissez une plage horaire. Pour supprimer tout, sélectionnez «Tout l historique» 5. Cochez les cases «cookies et autres données de site» et «images et fichiers mis en cache» 6. Cliquez sur «Effacer les données» Internet Explorer 1. Click Tools > Safety > Delete browsing history. If the menu bar is hidden, press ALT to make it visible 2. Deselect Preserve Favorites website data and select: Temporary Internet files or Temporary Internet files and website files Cookies or Cookies and website data History

23 3. Click Delete. You will see a confirmation at the bottom of the window when the process is complete 4. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser Internet Explorer 1. Cliquez sur Outils> Sécurité> Supprimer l'historique de navigation. Si la barre de menu est cachée, appuyez sur ALT pour le rendre visible 2. Désélectionnez «Conserver données de sites web favoris» et sélectionnez: Fichiers Internet temporaires Cookies Historique 3. Cliquez sur Supprimer. Vous verrez une confirmation au bas de la fenêtre lorsque le processus sera terminé 4. Sortir / fermer toutes les fenêtres du navigateur et ouvrir à nouveau le navigateur Microsoft Edge 1. Open Edge and click the three dots icon in the top right-hand corner. Select Settings from the list. 2. In the Settings menu, click the Choose what to clear button under "Clear browsing data". You may need to scroll down the list a bit to see it.

24 3. Tick Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files, then click Clear to finish. Note : For Instructions in French please use below link

25 FireFox 1. Select Options (Its a Gear icon in the right hand side - ) 2. In the Left Click Privacy and Security, scroll down to Cookies and Site Data. 3. Click on Clear Data and the Clear Data window will appear then Clear Button. A Window will appear called Clear all cookies and site data, left click on the Clear Now
