Parent Portal New student information system Infinite Campus Parents will need to set up an account the first time they log-on. Your account will stay active as long as you have students enrolled in the school system. Data will be available for all grade levels. There are also apps available.
Portal Information Parents will have access to the following data about their child School Notices Attendance Schedules Grades Assignments Teacher email
Click on the Calendar to see all assignments and attendance events (absences or tardies). For example in the picture above: Zach has an attendance note on the 14 th. You can click on the picture of the A+ to get more information about the assignments.
Click on the Schedule link on the left-hand side to view your child s schedule for the year. Notice that you can also email teachers, read class newsletters and go directly to information about classes.
Click on the Attendance link on the left-hand side to see your child s attendance. You will see a summary of attendance by Course, Period, Day, and Term.
Click on the Grades link on the left-hand side to see grades. Items displayed: comments overall average progress report grade codes for late, missing, or incomplete work class or teacher website

What is GAcollege411? GAcollege411 is an online resource to help students and their families select a college, apply for admission, and plan to finance higher education. The mission of GAcollege411 is to: 1) increase access to postsecondary education in the state of Georgia and, 2) make the tasks and processes related to planning, applying, and paying for higher education simpler. GAcollege411 offers access to comprehensive information about colleges, universities, and technical colleges in Georgia. The site also enables students to apply for admission to each school listed.
Middle School Students and Bridge The BRIDGE (Building Resourceful Individuals to Develop Georgia s Economy) Law (HB400) was signed in 2010. Beginning with the 2010-2011 School year, students in the sixth, seventh, and eight grades shall be provided counseling, advisement, career awareness, career interest inventories, and information to assist them in evaluating their academic skills and career interests.
Bridge Bill As a 6th grader students will: Create a GAcollege411 account Take a career assessment As a 7th grader students will: Take a different career assessment Explore and save at least three career clusters/concentrations to their portfolio As an 8th grader students will: Explore and save at least three career options to your portfolio Create an Individual Graduation Plan/Plan of Study
The Individual Graduation Plan Before the end of the second semester of the eight grade, students shall develop an individual graduation plan in consultation with their parents, guardians, or individuals appointed by the parents or guardians to serve as their designee. Plans must be reviewed and approved for each student.
Creating an Account Barrow County has established a specific method for creating an account. Students will create one account and use it all throughout middle school. Their account will follow them to high school and then to college.
Username and Password Username All students will use their first initial, last initial, and lunch number as their username. Password All students will use their lunch number as their password.
8 th Grade All students will create an account using the login format as outlined. Students will compete three surveys the Interest Profiler, Career Cluster, and Career Key Students will save careers and clusters to their profile. Students will create a Graduation Plan and have a parent approve the plan.
