FORWARD AND INSTRUCTIONS FORWARD Hi! My name is Bob McDuff, the English Professor. Welcome to week 34 of the bm method. This week, I would like you to take a trip to the newsstand and buy an English newspaper. Try to read an article every day, preferably from different sections of the newspaper. Use your dictionary to look up words you don t understand. This should take from 10 to 20 minutes every day. Remember to watch your 30-minute TV show and listen to some talk radio at least three times during the week. By now, including your weekly lesson and your extra activities, you should be spending at least two hours in English every week. The more time you put in, the better the result will be. INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1 : PDF Text Read the PDF text attentively, making sure you understand the meaning of each question and each answer. You may use the translation for this step. STEP 2 : MP3 Audio Listen carefully to the example that corresponds to the exercise in the «audio» section. Then listen to the first question and give your answer immediately out loud. Really! It is very important to answer out loud! You must hear yourself answer because you must then compare your answer with the one on the audio. Proceed this way for all the questions and all the exercises. P.S.: If necessary, you may print the PDF text and follow it for this step. Easy instructions in 3 steps STEP 3 : Video Do the second step again, but in the «video» section. DO NOT USE THE PDF TEXT FOR THIS STEP. You can and should repeat this step many times, and this, as long as the exercises are not perfectly assimilated. You must be able to give your answer within the alloted time that is given to you.
