Alerts the driver of detected obstacles at the front of the vehicle, with an audible warning (buzzer). The 4 sensors are activated for 30 seconds when the vehicle starts up, and are reactivated as soon as the driver engages the reverse gear. Compatible with pulsed rear light signal. Caution It is recommended that installation is carried out by an approved professional auto technician. It is strongly advised to check the position of the sensors It is not recommended to paint the sensors included in this kit. If you would like the sensors to be the same colour as your vehicle, choose paintable sensors, available as spares. You may have to replace the adapter ring (included in the kit) around the sensor in order to obtain the required inclination in the range of +/- 5 after installation on the vehicle bumper. On metal bumpers, you must sometimes add insulating order to avoid sensor vibration. Valeo beep&park helps provide assistance when reversing and parking. Driving skills, such as slowing down, use of mirrors etc. are always essential. Blocked sensors are preventing the system functioning correctly. Make sure that the sensors are not covered with mud, snow or ice, for example. No reset necessary Self diagnosis Valeo beep&park system is equipped with a self-diagnosis of sensors: 1. When the engine is switched on, the system tests the 4 front sensors automatically. 2. When the reverse gear is selected, if all of the sensors are working properly, the system beeps once. 3. If there is a problem with any of the sensors, the system beeps 3 times. 4. 5.
