The more you practice, the easier the transition will be back into class. I encourage you to speak in French over the summer, even if just to yourself. Sing along with music. A. Listening/Viewing Practice Listening to and understanding native French speakers from all over the world is a difficult skill and one that needs to be practiced a lot! You will be responsible for 6 listening assignments over the summer. You will be assigned 6 audio/video activities during the summer. A summary in English and a list of 5 new vocabulary words will be handed in for each listening activity.
