The caterpillar The document is a comic strip. The scene takes place in a classroom. I can hear Nigel, Melissa and a teacher. Nigel is talking to Melissa because a caterpillar is walking up her back, then it is standing on her shoulder. The teacher is angry because she thinks Nigel is looking at Melissa s paper and she thinks Melissa is speaking to Nigel. Then the caterpillar is crawling inside her jumper so she shouts because she is scared. The teacher is very angry. Nigel says she is looking for a caterpillar! On the right I can see a man who is selling icecreams. At the bottom, on the right, I can see a man who is phoning.

At the top I can see a fisherman, he is fishing on a boat. In the middle, on the left, I can see 2 persons, they are chatting, eating and drinking. The scene takes place in space, on the moon because I can see Neil Armstrong on the moon. I think the scene takes place in 1969 because N.Armstrong walked on the moon in 1969. On the first photography, in the foreground I can see the moon and in the background I can see the earth. On the second photography, I can see N.Armstrong who is wearing a space suit, he is carrying a helmet. On the third photography, N. A is holding an American flag and he is walking on the moon. DESCRIBING A DOCUMENT Quand je présente un document je dois commencer par l introduction : - Je dis le genre du document (a photographie, a picture, a comic strip, a letter ). - Si je peux je donne le titre, la date et l auteur. - Ensuite je réponds rapidement aux questions : - WHERE = le lieu, l endroit - WHEN = le moment - WH0 = les personnes Pour cela je peux dire : The scene takes place in.., I can see.. Ensuite je décris le document, je dis ce que je vois, et je fais des hypothèses, je donne mon avis : Pour cela :

- j utilise le vocabulaire pour situer les choses sur un document. - je pense à utiliser le présent BE+ing pour dire ce que font les gens, pour décrire les actions. - j émets des hypothèses, je donne mon avis : I think../ In my opinion. In the middle I can see a man, he is carrying a bag, and he is asking questions to a girl, she is in the information desk. At the bottom on the left, I can see a man and a woman,they are drinking.i can see flowers on the table. On the right,i can see a man who is talking with a woman, the man is in a shop, a duty free shop. On the left, I can see a woman, she is wearing a coat, she is standing, she is holding a handbag and a suitcase. In the background, I can see a woman she is holding a trolley and she is holding a phone.
